Saw the new 4k restoration of Dracula tonight. Gorgeous - a much better grade than the previous one. Those few seconds of re-inserted material look considerably better than before too. – at Junction One, Northern Ireland

Watched Break in the Circle for the first time in years. The new 4k restoration does wonders for the colour. Quite a fun little thriller, snappy dialogue, great locations. Also the unmatted ratio is undoubtedly has the best composed visuals. – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Here I am with @HammerGothic today outside the birthplace of actor Noel Willman, 29 Aberfoyle Terrace in Derry/Londonderry, N. Ireland. @hammerfilms fans will remember Willman from Kiss of the Vampire, The Reptile, and The Vengeance of She – at Drumahoe, Northern Ireland

The Dracula 4k home entertainment release has been pushed back to 23 November. Seen lots of angry comments from 'fans'. The entitlement is shocking tbh. Yeah the delay is a shame, but hardly the end of the world. Get some perspective folks. – at Armagh, Northern Ireland

Rather envious of those who got invites to the Dracula premiere in London last night. Looks like the whole evening had the spectacle of the classic days of Hammer. – at Castleroe, Northern Ireland

Currently have @HammerGothic visiting for a few days. Enjoying a little @hammerfilms mini-binge. Just watched Ticket to Happiness, and then the super-rare short The Noble Art. No doubt we'll get some more in before he leaves again. – at Castleroe, Northern Ireland

Just seen the prices for the new Hammer/House of Maiden jewellery collab. Dracula ring is £425. The candlestick cross necklace £210. Lovely but out of this collector's reach. – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

The death of actor Richard O'Sullivan, star of tv sitcom and it's @hammerfilms adaptation Man About the House, was announced this morning. He was 82. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce8e… – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Rage... Had the new @hammerfilms Dracula 4k in my basket with all the bonus freebies and while putting payment through lost em. If you were quick you got the quad, postcard, and Jonathan Barker diary as extras. The blood red edition sold out very quickly. Not my week. – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Delighted to see a range of official Hammer script books finally in the offering. I tried pitching such a series back in 2012 when I was working with the archive. My wallet will take a beating, but these do look lovely. hammerfilms.com/products/the… – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Latest addition to my collection - a super-rare quad poster for @hammerfilms 'The Stranger Came Home'. Released through Exclusive in the UK in 1954, and in the US via Lippert as 'The Unholy Four'. – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

The @hammerfilms tie-in edition of Gaston Leroux's #ThePhantomOfTheOpera novel, against the backdrop of the novel's original setting - the auditorium of the Palais Garnier in Paris. #HammerHorror – at Portrush, Northern Ireland

Two new additions to the collection - new 4k X The Unknown boxset from @hammerfilms ( featuring Man on the Beach) And a 16mm print of Wiretapper, distributed in the UK by Exclusive Films in 1956. A biographical crime drama which features an appearance by preacher Billy Graham. – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Starting Sunday off with the new 4k restoration of Man on the Beach - part of the @hammerfilms X The Unknown set. Delighted this finally has a decent transfer! – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

New blog post: Is it time To The Devil... A Daughter was censored? exclusivefilms.wordpress.com… – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Interesting news, Wim Wenders has withdrawn his film Wrong Move from ciculation because of the inclusion of nudity of then-13 year old Nastassja Kinski. Is it time Hammer's To the Devil A Daughter was re-cut for featuring a nude 14 year old Kinski? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c99l… – at Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Ed Wood's infamous Plan 9 From Outer Space is out on BD from @BFI on 7 Sep. Even better, release includes BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, which was handled by Exclusive Films on its original UK release. A must have. amzn.to/49zSXYv – at Belfast, Northern Ireland
