I understand that "the nile" is supposed to sound like "denial," but why is it in Egypt? Does it imply that denial is an affliction, its darkness akin to the mysteries of Ancient Egypt and the vastness of its grip akin to the Nile, the longest river in the world?
I didn't realize the title "Ratatouille" was a play on the word "rat" until maybe my 5th time watching the film. I thought it was a straightforward reference to the dish featured in the film. This kind of thing happens to me often, and I worry it makes my peers think less of me.

I think literature can be an amazing way to connect with others and understand the world.
I “used to” have a “fantasy” that, upon having a sexual encounter with a male, all my friends would be there, cheering & telling me it’s ok, but they would also be strapped to the wall (not in a sexual way) so they couldn’t touch themself sexually & also they would feel happy.
