[Apology regarding Friday queuing times] The VeXpo team would like to extend a formal apology to all attendees affected by the queuing issues which occured on the Friday of VeXpo 2026. As part of our commitment to improve VeXpo year on year, we have considered methods to alleviate Day 1 badge collection for our future events and have concluded that we will be transitioning from volunteers to contracted staff. We truly appreciate all the volunteers who participated and arrived on time for all their shifts, however we have realised that we cannot leave such an important role to volunteer capacity. We will be working closely with the NEC and badge collection will be operating with their guidance from this point on. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. #VeXpo2026
