.@BBC Factual would do well to remember that their @jk_rowling programme might need to be shown in three or so decades' time as part of her obituary. If they go in hard on the "transphobic" nonsense it will be embarrassing for them to be shown up as having been so prejudiced.

So much hatred of women. Rory Stewart doesn't care about the gang rape of girls. The Archbishop doesn't care about extreme hijab. The TUC aims to remove women's rights in favour of men. The government won't deport immigrant rapists and murderers. This is a fight for our lives.

At the Women’s Policy Centre, we strongly oppose the decision of the Archbishop of Canterbury @ArchbishopSarah to award a man who subjects his wife to abuse by concealing her identity in such a barbaric manner. No religion can permit anyone to deny the dignity and freedom of women. Centuries of gradual adaptation and applied theology have established gender equality in the Church of England, with a woman now holding the highest office. Yet the same woman allows a man from another religion to deny his wife the same rights. This is unacceptable. No awards should ever be given to such men in the UK. We shall not normalise the subjugation of women, for any reason, whatever the religion.

A suggestion for users of X: before you block someone it might be a good idea to check whether or not they've contributed to your fundraiser.

I am still surprised, in a country that's as prosperous and peaceful as it is because of 1,000 years of the rule of law, how many people will confidently and wrongly state either than the law doesn't apply to them or that it can't be enforced against them.

This podcast has introduced me to the concept of narcissistic large group regression. I almost wish it hadn't, but better on the whole to have the explanation.
Spooked by footage from Jason Arday's vigil? You're right to be - @Jaco_v_Z says paranoid 'large group regression' can get very scary indeed. Yet another reason to shut down staff networks NOW! Link to full episode: Did The HR Industry Kill Jason Arday? ⬇️

Audrey Werro tripped herself by stepping on the inner kerb. That's should be automatic disqualification under rule 17.3.2 of the World Athletics Technical Rules, rather than an undeserved advancement. A shame for the Women's 800m, but rules are rules. @EuroAthletics

The National Federation of Women's Institutes has now acknowledged my appeal against their refusal of my complaint on their trans intransigence, and said they will be in touch with next steps, so on it goes. alisongolding.substack.com/p…

I've appealed against the National Federation of Women's Institutes' dismissal of my complaint against them on transgender issues. It's 28 turgid pages of single spaced A4, I hope not many of you read it. alisongolding.substack.com/p…

Can someone who has watched all 2 hours and 53 minutes of The Odyssey (the Christopher Nolan film) tell me whether it passes the Bechdel test?

Tanya, I'm probably the nth person to bring this to your attention @IsntWorkingPod
Six months ago a guy gave a talk at my husband’s office about overcoming autism and brain surgery. My husband came home and told me it should give us hope for our son, who actually has had two rounds of brain surgery. Just put two and two together and I’m a bit upset really.

If someone commits serious criminal damage with the aim of intimidating members of the public into a political or ideological cause then that is relevant information under the Sentencing Act 2020. This information is available to defendants before they commit their crime.
I urge the UK not to disproportionately transform ordinary criminal damage into offences with a "terrorist connection", particularly after convictions have occurred and the jury and defendants were not previously informed theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

PLEASE could you all spend a minute signing this government petition. We need 100,000 signatures so every signature please is vital. Thames Water are planning on getting approval to dump 75 million litres of semi-treated sewage in the river on a daily basis. This will destroy the area of river around Kingston/Teddington. Petition: Ensure new sewage treatment infrastructure meets higher standards as in the EU We urge the government to review the regulations for new sewage treatment infrastructure and introduce new legislation to ensure high international standards are met; to safeguard people’s health, better protect all water bodies and reduce damaging long term impacts. petition.parliament.uk/petit…

Perceptive here from the judge in the PB trial judicial review - the courts are the backstop for the collective madness of gender identity in children.
Replying to @nickwallis
AM but the test of harm is objective not subjective. J are there any other instances where a judge gives interim relief to a group of people who don't want it. Neither do their parents and neither do their doctors

Justin "Riley" Dennis is a man. Nicholas "Stephanie" Blanch is a man. They are both abusive, misogynist men. Australian law and Australian courts are abusive, misogynistic deniers of women's full humanity.
We have moved beyond the realm of restricting the free and honest speech of women in Australia with this judgement against @KirralieS. The State through it's instrument, the court system, is literally dictating to women what we must say with the clear intention of directing the thoughts and compelling the speech of all Australian women. I am shocked. Kirralie has been ordered to post this statement of shame and penance, or pay a $40k fine - on top of the $95k damages ordered by the courts for recognising men, calling them men and expecting them to be treated as the men they are and be banned from women's sport Forcing citizens to accept official beliefs under threat of punishment is called totalitarianism. It is authoritarian indoctrination. It is crass thought control. Nowhere in Australian law can I find any legislation that says we must call men women, refer to them as women and treat them as though they are women in all circumstances. This is extremely dangerous and is a startling overreach of government control and punishment. Riley Dennis is a man. We all know he is a man. And no man should be playing in women's sport.
