LUKSO Standard Proposal 7 (LSP7)
LSP7 is a technical standard on the LUKSO blockchain designed for fungible tokens, like ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum.
what LSP7 offers:
Enhanced Security: LSP7 allows for more secure transfers compared to previous standards by introducing a mandatory "force" parameter. This parameter ensures that the receiving party can only accept the transfer if they explicitly agree to the terms.
Richer Metadata: LSP7 integrates with LSP4, another LUKSO standard, to enable the storage of more detailed information about the token, beyond just the name and symbol.
Improved Interaction: LSP7 facilitates communication between the token's smart contract and the sender/receiver through token hooks. These hooks allow for more advanced functionalities to be built around the token.
