ALT Set up unique & secure passwords: (1) DON'T use sequential numbers or letters like 1234, qwerty, jklm, etc. or your birthday/birth year. (2) Use a combination of at least 12 characters. Eg: M0l#e9Qv? uses a unique combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, & symbols. (3) Use a passphrase which makes it difficult for others to guess your password. You may want to use 3-4 words as your passphrase.

ALT Apply multi-factor authentication: (1) Multi-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to your accounts. (2) This feature won’t let others sign into your account unless the person proves to be yourself after authentication. (3) This could be anything from an OTP sent to your email address or mobile number, a security code, or a secret question.

ALT Reflect on what you’re sharing: (1) Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is any information that can be used to identify or locate an individual. (2) PII includes information like name, address, phone number, date of birth, IP address, location details, or any other physical or digital identity data. (3) It’s a good practice to stop and reflect before sharing your PII on any networking site.
