🚨 | 𝗝𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗖 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗜'𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗫𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔 — 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝟱-𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧! In his detailed F1TV analysis, former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer examines the Hamilton–Leclerc battle and delivers a damning verdict on the opening-lap incident. 🎙️ 𝗝𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗥: “On this occasion, it's all on Charles Leclerc for me.” 🔹Palmer says Lewis did everything right into Turn 1 and gave Charles plenty of racing room through the opening corners. 🔹At Turn 4, Leclerc braked so late that Palmer believes he was never going to make the corner, regardless of Hamilton's presence. 🔹Lewis reacted to Charles's attack, went wide himself and lost position to Verstappen while attempting to rejoin the track. 🔹Palmer argues that Leclerc's five-second penalty was insufficient and that the stewards should have imposed the full ten seconds. 🎙️ “The stewards here chickened out giving Leclerc the full thing.” Palmer also praised Hamilton's clean, controlled final qualifying lap, contrasting it with Leclerc's costly oversteer through Turns 10–11. Ferrari had emerged from the opening corners running first and second. Moments later, that advantage had unravelled. 🎥 F1TV | Palmer's Analysis #F1 #MexicoCityGP 🇲🇽 #Hamilton

The most biased Leclerc fan you know even admits it was entirely Leclerc's fault... Fair play
🚨 | 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧: “𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗠 𝗢𝗙𝗙!” Matt Gallagher and Tom Bellingham of P1 with Matt & Tommy deliver a strong assessment of Charles Leclerc's opening-lap move on Lewis Hamilton in Mexico City. 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗘𝗥: 🎙️ “It hurts for me to say it, but Charles Leclerc was obviously in the wrong, as we mentioned, and Hamilton did not force him off.” 🎙️ “I don't know where people are getting this narrative that Hamilton forced him off.” 🎙️ “If Hamilton did not exist, Leclerc was going exactly the same route as what he did.” The discussion continued: 🎙️ “There was no contact. They weren't even marginally close on the exit of that corner.” 🎙️ “Watching Leclerc's onboard, he is in so hot into that corner.” The possibility that Leclerc never intended to make the corner was also raised, although the speakers stopped short of making that accusation. 🎙️ “I'm sure he was trying to take the lead, but I can see why people would maybe go down this route of, ‘Well, did he even wanna make the corner?’ because he went in that hard. It's just a desperate move.” The FIA subsequently penalised Leclerc for leaving the track and gaining a lasting advantage, although the stewards also noted that Hamilton had gone off-track during the incident. #F1 #MexicoCityGP 🇲🇽 #Hamilton

"It's really Fred Vasseur. He needs to start to act I think there... Charles was bouncing over the inside into Lewis. He was not holding the line. So already that was too much from Charles. So he messed up already there."
