Huzzah! Found the Collision Course live DVD rip on MD. I do recall the rigmarole of dvd player digital out to MD.

In 2001 I recorded Dido - No Angel from CD to MD, in 2018 I ripped CD into FLAC, today I have ripped the MD to wave and then converted to FLAC, the resultant sound is better than the CD rip, how is that possible? Is ATRAC better than wav? Or CD degraded over time?
