@MyGlasgowCC East City Way / London Road and the south footway both blocked by a fallen tree opposite Eastgate, 727 London Road, G40 3AQ. (1/4)
@MyGlasgowCC Stray trampoline at the NW corner of London Road and The Clyde Gateway. Please uplift to prevent it blowing onto the roadway. Also, traffic signals at the same corner are facing away from westbound traffic. Please adjust. (3/4)
@MyGlasgowCC I passed again tonight and managed to balance on my bike and push the traffic lights back the right way so please cancel that one. Also, the trampoline is no longer there, presumably uplifted or retrieved. Thanks! – at Cambuslang, Scotland

@MyGlasgowCC West footway of Springfield Road blocked at two points by fallen hoarding, opposite 306-320 Springfield Road, G40 3HU. These panels are too heavy for me to move despite my surname. Please pass all four of my reports in this thread to the relevant departments. (4/4)
Red lamp out on Bath Street at Wellington Street, outside 120 Bath Street, G2 2EN. Thanks. – at Glasgow, Scotland

@MyGlasgowCC The east footway of Saltmarket opposite Clyde Street has buckled and risen significantly with several broken and uneven slabs. It appears to have occurred 'overnight' which could suggest thermal expansion as the cause, i.e. poorly laid. Please can this be reported? – at Glasgow, Scotland
@MyGlasgowCC The rise is now slightly less pronounced but remains, along with damage to the slabs. Remedial work definitely required. Please report if you have not done so already. Thanks. – at Glasgow, Scotland
The build hall at BAE Systems, Govan, Glasgow open tonight revealing Type 26 frigates HMS Belfast (F90) and HMS Birmingham (F91), assuming neither are transferred to Norway to meet their first in-service date of 2029. Belfast is 5 years into her build and Birmingham 3.

@MyGlasgowCC In the last year, frequent gatherings have occurred in Glasgow Green, around the new barbecue area, currently nightly. They do tidy up but the bags left for uplift at tax payers expense are often ripped open by birds. Can someone ask them to take their rubbish away?
Yorkhill Quay cycleway (Riverside Museum-SEC) reopened and largely resurfaced. 🥳 So glad that diversion is over!

@MyGlasgowCC Red man out on Renfrew Street at West Nile Street. Outside the Brasserie & Bar, 161 West Nile Street, G1 2RL. I previously reported this particular lamp out in November 2024 and April 2025, so the bulbs seem to last about a year. Thanks. – at Glasgow, Scotland
@MyGlasgowCC Just checking this was reported as it's still dark and is an extremely busy junction for pedestrians due to the nearby Buchanan Bus Station. Thanks. – at Glasgow, Scotland

@MyGlasgowCC Hi - a toddler was playing in amongst this giant hogweed in 'Whitby Wood' at Whitby Street earlier. Her mother seemed unaware of the danger. I believe it's a private owner who resides overseas but can you liaise with Parkhead H/A to arrange a spray? Thanks.
@GlasgowHousing The giant hogweed has also spread to the grass surround of the Helenvale Street flats on Springfield Road. Can you please arrange a spray of those plants too?
The Moon as seen from my window tonight!
This week @NASA are scheduled to launch their Artemis II mission to perform a 'lunar flyby' (no landing) - the first time we have been there since 1972, well before I was born. Exciting stuff!
First signs of Dalmarnock Lidl. Groundworks began on 9 Feb 2026. The site was last used as a transport hub for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the tarmac now being lifted 12 years on. A positive for local residents. I wonder how long the build will take? – at Glasgow, Scotland

@MyGlasgowCC I nearly cycled into a large stone block that's just appeared in Glasgow Green, I assume as an anti-terror measure? They're difficult to see in dark/wet conditions, surely itself a safety risk! Could they be made more visible, perhaps reflectors or lights? Thanks.
@MyGlasgowCC Hi - red & white tape has since been applied but it's still not great in the dark and it has already slid down one of the blocks. Could a better solution be considered as it still constitutes a serious safety risk to cyclists. Thanks. (4/4 scroll back for all tweets)

@MyGlasgowCC Hi - I reported Gallowgate R21-R31 - 7 lamps on the south side of Gallowgate dark in February 2025 (22728485 refers). Is there any update as the whole section remains dark 7 months on. Thanks.
@MyGlasgowCC Hi - is there any update on this? It's 259 days since I reported it, so definitely outwith your 60 day time-scale! Thanks.
