Back from SF, intense trip (as always) ==> Takeaways:
1. Hardware + robotics is where the cool kids are now.
2. Data is the new bottleneck. AI/robotics companies are starving for it. I brokered two data deals at a single asado.
3. Being a researcher is the new aspiration for young talent. SWE is for uncs and agents.
4. The gap between SF and everyone else keeps widening. The black hole keeps gaining mass. If you are outside its event horizon, you will miss the singularity.
5. More and more LATAM talent is moving to SF, and it is not just fintech anymore. They are building across all kinds of use cases, some right at the frontier. Refreshing to see.
