Thank you, everyone, for your kind words yesterday.
Shit sucks, grief isn't linear, and thank you in advance for understanding how sometimes we push through, and sometimes it's okay to not be okay.
Love you, uncle Patrick.

Patrick Stewart sat there smiling as Mila Kunis confessed her old Nokia ringtone was literally his voice as Captain Picard — then she started doing the impression right next to him.
He rolled with it perfectly, then matched her energy by telling the story of how everyone said TNG would be dead in six months, plus the one about actually pressing the buttons that put Concorde into supersonic.
Watching this now hits different. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick.
Jimmy's "Augh" still breaks my heart everytime. He knew he was gonna get whacked but he genuinely didn't expect to get whacked by his closest friend. He even saw Frank holding a gun but it didn't even occur to him that Frank would betray him.
They didn't go for a dramatic look of betrayal. It was quick, clean, and professional. And that made it even more upsetting.
The irony of his son preventing his first assassination attempt but then driving his dad straight to his second one lol.
I always thought about this scene. Because when Hoffa tries to leave the room, not only is he leaving because something was fishy, but he also left because he didn't wanna have to wait for anybody to show up.
His biggest mistake was being involved with guys in the mafia and having complete trust in any one of them.

We remember Sir Patrick Stewart, who died on 28 October at age 86, leaving a remarkable legacy on stage and screen.
As Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, Stewart brought intelligence, dignity, and moral courage to the responsibilities of command. His portrayal had roots in naval fiction: Gene Roddenberry encouraged him to read C. S. Forester’s Horatio Hornblower novels to help shape the character.
His maritime roles also included Captain Ahab in Moby Dick (1998) and Captain Nemo in Mysterious Island (2005)—commanders whose very different journeys explored obsession, ambition, and the consequences of power.
From the quarterdeck to the bridge of the Enterprise, Stewart gave unforgettable depth to the figures who stood in command—and invited audiences to consider what leadership requires.
Fair winds and following seas, Sir Patrick.
