Oro lo fe gbo.
And I’m glad you are hearing it.
🇬🇧 As an immigrant living in the UK, I often see comments telling immigrants (me) to leave the UK and go back home .
I have always wanted to ask British people who share this view:
Is your concern about immigration generally, the number of people coming into the UK, or immigrants from certain countries?
I genuinely want to understand your perspective.

It’s because she keeps doing everything for them. She needs to stop going above and beyond the basics and insist that they take responsibility for doing things themselves.

You will see Yoruba people doing their thing jejely and copy it cause you like it then come years later to tell us it belongs to all Nigerians and not only to Yoruba people.
Her daughter will now come after 20years and show her mum’s wedding picture as proof that “Idobale” is part of Edo culture🤭
This is my rationale too!
There is (or atleast shouldn’t be) no hierarchy in partnership.
You can build a happy home With mutual respect and love. No one needs to be the head or neck for that to happen.
