To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.

how i work with agents:
- have an "entrypoint" agent that you talk to over Slack. make it have a cute avatar so you're more inclined to talk to it 😁 and add this agent everywhere
- that agent has a ton of other agents that it talks to behind the scenes. generally one agent per domain to keep things clean. Claude's SendMessage tool is godsend. i prefer an agent per domain (with its own subagents) vs only one agent.
- my team also has a dedicated Slack channel where all of our agents talk to each other. it's fun to watch agents work with each other at an ungodly hour and wake up to everything being done.
now our job as a human is really to:
- not be a meat proxy, let agents just do the work amongst themselves
- have strong taste and opinions, and guide the many agent in the right direction
Opus 5.5 during planning: this feature will take 2-3 weeks.
Also, Opus 5.5, 7 hours later: 435k LOC written, 297 tests, and the feature is ready.

💢 One Palestinian child killed every 71 minutes in Gaza over three years — nearly 22,000 dead, 71,000 orphaned
Israeli attacks have killed at least 21,976 Palestinian children in Gaza since October 7, 2023, according to a report by Gaza’s Health Ministry marking three years of war.
Among those killed were 5,444 children under five and 1,125 infants under one year old. A further 45,569 children have been injured, including 1,134 who have undergone amputations, while 71,846 have been orphaned.
The ministry also documented:
▪️ 612 children killed while seeking food or medicine
▪️ 157 children dead from malnutrition, out of 466 malnutrition deaths total
▪️ 264 children among 2,027 patients who died awaiting medical evacuation
All 38 hospitals and 158 primary healthcare centers in Gaza have been targeted. Nineteen hospitals and 64 healthcare centers are out of service. 1,723 healthcare workers have been killed and 216 ambulances targeted.

26 years to the day that we watched Jamal al-Durrah try to protect his 12-year-old son Muhammad from being shot and killed as he tried to hide by his side. Muhammad was killed a few minutes after this picture was taken. 23 years later, Israel killed Jamal’s brothers too.
