A new type of virus called the "Morris II" Al worm was discovered by researchers. Even though the study took place in a controlled setting, it raises concerns about the dangers these malicious programs could pose in the real world. Al is automating more and more important jobs in many fields. So if for example, a worm attack succeeds in a factory where Al runs the production lines or a hospital where Al helps doctors make decisions, the results could be very bad.
