The Islands Architecture is cool: server-render HTML with small "islands" that get interactive independently.
Explainer by @_developit: bit.ly/islands-a
Etsy's usage w/Preact: bit.ly/islands-b
Patterns incl w/Astro: bit.ly/islands-c

ALT Island architecture is the idea of using partial hydration to build entire websites. Island architecture is an alternative to the popular idea of building your website into a client-side JavaScript bundle that must be shipped to the user. In an “islands” model, server rendering is not a bolt-on optimization aimed at improving SEO or UX. Instead, it is a fundamental part of how pages are delivered to the browser. The HTML returned in response to navigation contains a meaningful and immediately renderable representation of the content the user requested. — Jason Miller

Learning React? Learn these:
* Arrow functions (components)
* Destructuring/defaults (props)
* Rest/spread (props)
* Pure functions (avoid component state bugs)
* Higher order functions (HOCs)
* Function composition (compose HOCs)

A few years ago, we created and started adopting this agile testing approach in my teams. We still joking with the term 🤣but it really works.

Interesting thought. In a general perspective it's a risk to upgrade all the app to a major version in early releases, However, if we don't, we got stucked in old version. Now, #microfrontends dont sound such crazy as the last year for gradual upgrading right?

it has been a long time since I wrote my last article in Medium 😅. I wrote this article about the tech agnostic principle for Micro-Frontends, it's still being a controversial topic, then I'll really appreciate your feedback to communicate it better 😀
