Before she resigns she should state that she made her birthright citizenship decision under duress and ask that it be nullified
Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is looking highly fatigued. Should she resign? I think so.

Obama imported all the Somalis. Of course he’s pissed.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Obviously us Americans use Europe as the canary in the coal mine; as the one who takes the first bite of our food for us. We did, after all, start the country as a break away from undesirable governance.
Wow. There it goes. The tower roof of the 143-year-old Limoges Town Hall collapses.

The thing with Sissy Spacek in this role and her eyes is that she's able to convey the dissociation and come off as otherworldly. By the end of the movie you almost wonder if she was abused to keep the evil in her bottled up. You start to think she's the villain.
Purtroppo Sissy Spacek ha fatto cose con il suo volto in questa scena che sono inarrivabili, è quasi ingiusto per tutte le attrici che ci hanno provato dopo

No doubt her mom caused it, but the film gives a sense that she has premonitions about what's to come. She viewed her daughter as a curse and her daughter was cursed; it felt supernatural. It seemed like Carrie became the evil her mom always projected onto her.

I promise that people were doing this shit in the 60s. The difference is that it wasn't getting posted to group chats and social media.
You’re telling me we destroyed norms around sex, pornography, and drugs, and students are having drug-fueled sex orgies at elite institutions? I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked!

I was talking to my mom about this Cornell case and she said no woman wants that. I proceeded to tell her how most of my girl friends have had multiple-partner sexual interactions. She told me they have to have something wrong and I said they were just young and horny.

She is though. I'm like 94% sure she'll use this fame as a launching pad for onlyfans and make like $3 million her first day.

The Cornell 7 case reminds me of times I've steered away from sexual contact because the girl was drunk or on ecstasy. They would've been fun. I'm older and still think maybe I missed opportunities, but looking back, I probably had the right mindset.

On the surface this movie has a good plot, but then you have a poster with lesbos, a gay merman with pasties, a furry, and paraphilic infantilism. Stick to the plot.

A major plot point of T2 is that they have a chip and the arm that got crushed off. The ambiguity of exactly how they got them works better imo.
The Terminator (1984) A deleted scene from the ending where it turns out the final confrontation between Sarah and the T-800 was actually at Cyberdyne, handing them the technology that leads to their creation and starts the future war. A great, bleak time loop paradox

🇺🇸 In Miami, two inmates on murder charges who never met face-to-face had a baby through an AIR DUCT. Daisy (29) and Joan (23) fell in love via the vent between floors. He wrapped his semen in plastic, tied it to a rope made of torn bedsheets, and lowered it down. She pulled it up and self-inseminated with a store-bought applicator. In 2024, she gave birth to a baby girl with DNA confirming it’s their child. The jail is currently investigation this shocking security lapse.

These chicks are being paid bank to do this. We have high IQ rich people who won't even do this here. Hell, just do it to outsource your wife's pregnancy pains.

A girl in my class is a middle eastern non-citizen in her mid twenties and her wedding was over 100k. I have no idea where they got all their money from.
What was the most expensive wedding you have gone to? I went to one of my colleague's wedding at a private club. I think there was about 200 guests and my colleague told me the wedding was over $70k.😮

Dudes need a medical term for this like "Caregiver shock" or "New daddy blues". Then men can wear a color in solidarity outside the courtroom.

They should've just had him blurt out "...for you" right before the final battle with Batman
Took me 14 years to realize Bane’s ‘for you’ wasn’t a reply to ‘you’re a big guy’ he was just finishing his own sentence. Changes the whole scene.

Directors these days think they are high-level when they abruptly end their movies, like they're Hitchcock or something. Hitchcock endings were great because he'd tell the whole story then add a quippy one-liner.

I would give the new Resident Evil film a 7/10. It was entertaining and there were a lot of things to like, but the very end definitely pissed me off. I wonder if the budget could've been stretched a bit more. There were a few scares that surprised me throughout.

I've been more aware of this lately. Reading the world's problems powerless does nothing but makes you feel more powerless. All people can do are actions to improve their life and if they're successful they'll be more poised to help solve bigger issues.
Once you’ve woken up, there are extremely diminishing returns to continuing to consume blackpilling stats, even though they’re true. You need to pivot your information environment towards empowerment & action. Stop passively consuming the truth and start creating it
