We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users
We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked
The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

Esta es la realidad del mercado IT hoy en dia. El mercado esta bastante movido.
Muchos despidos masivos en varias empresas de software.
Me pasó algo similar a principios de año, cuando me despidieron después de 8 años trabajando para una startup de USA, de un dia para el otro. Sin aviso.
Por eso creo que está perfecto tener un trabajo que nos dé estabilidad, pero también es importante construir nuestro propio negocio en paralelo. Algo nuestro, para que si mañana nos toca estar del otro lado, no nos pegue mal.
Y hoy, más que nunca, como programadores tenemos una gran oportunidad.
Salir a vender, hablar con empresas, entender sus problemas y ofrecer soluciones.
La IA nos permite convertirnos en ese puente entre negocios que necesitan tecnología y soluciones que antes eran demasiado caras o complejas de desarrollar.
No esperemos a quedarnos sin trabajo para empezar a construir algo propio.

Este señor olvida que el género sobre el que construyó su legado tiene una fuerte e histórica tradición contestataria y de rebeldía. Sí, tienen derecho a no dar discursos políticos en sus conciertos si no quieren; lo cuestionable y sorprendente es descalificar a quienes sí lo hacen, teniendo ellos mismos un repertorio que cuestiona la guerra y el poder. Ahí están ‘Disposable Heroes’, con sus soldados tratados como desechables, y ‘Eye of the Beholder’, cuestionando las restricciones a la libertad de expresión, por mencionar solo dos ejemplos. La música también puede entretener y hacernos pensar. Una cosa no excluye la otra, señor Metallico.
