The creator of Yakuza says that localization is extremely important to to capture the original meaning more than literal translations and a bunch of Americans claim he doesn't know what he is talking about.
Once again proving it was never about respecting the creator's intent
Jesus Christ, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth loves padding out time with "you are walking very slowly for reasons" and dated QTE-ass sequences.

As many of you may already know, I was unexpectedly laid off last week from Hasbro along with many other employees as part of a corporate restructuring. gofund.me/31f5c384

Please consider helping out Mr. John Warden and his family.
After being unexpectedly laid off from Hasbro last week it's tough to cover medical bills for his fiance.
Mr. Warden has contributed so much to Transformers. Please consider supporting.

I hope it gets to the point that Vin Diesel has everyone involved with the Fast & Furious movies to appear with him in an awkward, uncomfortable instagram video to prove that they're bros and everything is Totally Fine behind the scenes.
An unusually large proportion of Star Trek fans on twitter are like boomers on Facebook, harvesting social media for photos and content they can repost for engagement without credits or image alt text.

Last night's #lowerdecks was incredible, and really captured the magic of what made #ds9 so unique. And it was so great to see @NanaVisitor and @ShimermanArmin again. And hey...do you want more? May we humbly recommend the #VictoryisLife arc in Star Trek: Online? @startrek 🧵
Given most gaming people have now figured out that GTA and Yakuza are completely different kinds of games from each other, I really wish people would similarly understand that Sleeping Dogs (a GTA clone) having Asian protagonists doesn't mean it's just like Yakuza.

@TriggerRedd One of the things Judgment improved over JudgeEyes was crediting all of the main voice actors in the intro, and not just the celebrities. (Hopefully you can publicly answer this given the complications since) Was there some issue that prevented this in Lost Judgment?
It's too bad people are likely going to say Lost Judgment 's dance sequences "ripped off" Final Fantasy VII Remake's Honeybee Inn sequence, because they didn't know Yakuza had concert battle minigames back in Yakuza 5 (2012).
Weirdo console warriors (the sort who otherwise wouldn't care about the Yakuza series) are trying to drag it into some sort of Playstation vs Xbox dick measuring contest about where it sold the most.
It's great that Japanese people seem to be more supportive of Yakuza: Like A Dragon's dubbed Baka Mitai than two non-Asian weeb streamers that Sega of America *paid* to play the game.
(They acted as though dubbing the song in English was an insult to the original)
Considering the very first Yakuza game (2006) was only available in English dubbed, I don't understand newer Yakuza fans (who came in with Y0 in 2017) being snobs about the series having dubs in the most recent releases.
As it turns out, Sega can apparently see into the future and Cyberpunk's delays and technical woes were the best thing that could have happened for Yakuza: Like A Dragon.
