I think it’s interesting because thinking back, purely empirically, in my twenty year work life career I’ve observed that folks who do a lot of leadership aren’t as caffeinated as folks who do more operations like stuff.
I had mine COO/ Managers who would always have a cuppa coffee or cola 6am to 6pm while I’ve seen most CEOs enjoy a coffee or tea only post meals or morning hours.
The exception is India because milk tea made Indian style has very low caffeine and therefore doesn’t give the kick at all
If this is done once I expect it to be done over and over again. Fable 5 if available for 1/60th the cost would blow the valuations of frontier labs and could actually be the last straw on the camels back
Went on a date with a girl a long time back. Paid myself. Then she paid for a long time while I studied
Now it doesn’t matter who pays after almost 20 years.
If these things make one come on X to rant good luck finding a life partner
Apple is Domino’s
As long as the infects don’t change go crazy
people saying apple homeview is “just an ipad on a speaker” and it’s literally the best lesson in business you’ll see this year:
you can take one product and sell it to a totally different customer.
- homeview: an ipad on a speaker, for grandparents and the kitchen counter
- iphone: the computer for everyone
- ipad: an iphone with a bigger screen, for kids, artists and couch scrollers
- ipad mini: a smaller ipad, for readers and pilots
macbook: an ipad with a keyboard, for people who work
- apple watch: an iphone for your wrist, for runners and people who want fewer distractions
-airpods: the iphone’s speaker, moved into your ears, for commuters
- homepod: the iphone’s speaker for your living room
- apple tv: the iphone’s apps on your tv, for families
- vision pro: the iphone’s screen strapped to your face, for early adopters
apple has been doing this for 20 years!
same chips, same apps, same ecosystem. a different customer every time. unbundled or bundled.
it works and has made them a trillion dollar company and one of the most valuable companies on earth.
There’s two types of people at crypto conferences
Those who share what they’re doing

In Indian Hindu culture we often put up posters of Lord Krishna in his “child” Baal avtar (ladoo gopal) where expecting mothers can see and feel this joy
TIL Not only is it religious but deeply scientific
There's a name for the warm feeling in your chest when a giant man carefully does a little girl's hair. Psychologists didn't have it until 2000. Thomas Jefferson described it in 1771, and science ignored him for 229 years.
Jefferson wrote a letter to a friend who'd asked for book recommendations, then went off on a tangent about what happens in your body when you witness goodness. He said it "dilates the breast" and makes you privately vow to copy the example. He mapped it like a modern emotion researcher, down to the bodily sensation and the urge it leaves behind.
Two centuries later, Jonathan Haidt found the letter while teaching at the university Jefferson founded. He'd been hunting for the opposite of moral disgust, the positive emotion nobody had bothered to study. Jefferson had already done the work. Haidt named it elevation.
The physical signature is real. Warmth spreads through the chest and your eyes go watery for no sad reason. In one study, nursing mothers who watched elevating clips produced more milk, which points to oxytocin flooding in just from watching. Lab subjects who'd just felt it spent more time helping a stranger minutes later.
And this clip is close to a lab-grade trigger. Hands that could crush a coconut working a hair tie the size of a quarter. The tenderness reads precisely because the force is visible.
Gentleness only carries information when strength was the other option.

NEW: India’s Essar Group’s $15 billion steel project investment in the US would not have happened without Trump’s tariffs on steel, indicates US Commerce Secretary Lutnick
A landmark day for Essar and Mesabi Metallics
At the White House today, President Donald J. Trump announced Essar-backed Mesabi Metallics' $18 billion investment to create a fully integrated American steel company, in the presence of Ravi Ruia, Vice Chairman & Founder, Essar Group, and Rewant Ruia, Chairman, Mesabi Metallics.
The largest single investment in a steel complex in U.S. history, the project will connect Mesabi Metallics' iron ore mine in Minnesota with a new steel complex in Iowa, creating a 100% American steel supply chain, from mine to mill.

President Trump just announced a $15 billion steel mega-plant in Iowa — billed as the largest steel plant ever built in the U.S. and the first of that scale since the 1960s.
The plant will produce 7.5 million tons of steel a year, later up to 10 million tons.
It will create 1,750 permanent Iowa jobs + 5,000–6,000 construction jobs.
Investing in the midwest is exactly what this country should be doing instead of importing foreign H-1Bs.
This is America first.
