All paid for by YOU on the Welsh Government’s credit card since Plaid Cymru took office in May. And they thought no one would notice, given it took an FOI request from me to find out.
You can tell a lot about a government by what they think they can get away with spending on in their first few months in office.
Keir Starmer was rightly called out for receiving gifts worth tens of thousands of pounds. At least he didn’t force the taxpayer to foot the bill for his frivolous items.
Rhun ap Iorwerth’s government is a different story. Taxpayers should be angry, and they deserve answers.

Nothing depreciates faster than a tank of fuel. Yes, EVs depreciate. So do petrol cars. But one burns hundreds monthly that vanish forever. 'Fuel depreciation' & oil volatility deserve much higher public scrutiny. It's a case of sunken assets vs energy-independent households. #EV

They've now both been issued with £1000 fines by North Warks Borough Council. Also, the vehicle they were driving was issued as part of the taxpayer-funded Motability Scheme. This has now been seized by the police on behalf of the Motability company.
