Dear bikes industry. We need to get a grip of this.
Reputable ebike brands are SAFE! And we need government and fire services to acknowledge that.
Rubbish eBay specials and AliExpress cheapy ones and lots of retrofit stuff is NOT SAFE.
They're not the same things.
Fire chiefs in London have warned people not to charge their e-scooter or e-bike while they are asleep and to only use the correct charger as fires have happened across the country.
