Incredible to do this after days of conservatives saying that Obama’s Cheesecake Factory joke shows that he’s an elitist who hates Middle America. Beginning to think he’s got a huge Kalshi bet on Dems taking the Senate.

We are finally getting a look behind the government's covert efforts to access the contents of Americans' phones by seizing them at the border, without a warrant or even individualized suspcison.
In @adc's latest phone seizure case, Imam v. Mullin, the court in the Eastern District of Virginia ordered the gov't to provide information about precisely what it did with our clients' phones and laptops from declarants with firsthand knowledge. The government submitted declarations that appeared to redact the relevant information, including the basis for the seizures, as well as what was done with Plaintiff Imam's devices.
Judge Brinkema just found these redactions unwarranted and ordered the government to unseal most of them.

Deservedly scathing op-ed by the NYT:
“If Democrats retake both houses of Congress, and more state governments than they now control, it will tell the world that Mr. Trump does not represent most Americans. It will demonstrate that a country that starts to slide toward autocracy can move back to normalcy, as happened in Hungary this spring. Most important, it will create a desperately needed check on Mr. Trump during his final two years in office.
…
In a 21-month span, he has done more harm to democracy and the rule of law than any other president in the modern era and perhaps longer than that. He has broken his oath to defend the Constitution by trying to rewrite it on his own. He has refused to honor Congress’s power of the purse and misused national security laws for political ends. He has defied federal court orders on Medicaid funding, deportation orders and more. He has dismantled the Justice Department’s legacy as an impartial enforcer of federal law, turning it into an instrument of retribution against his adversaries while canceling investigations into his allies. He has appointed inept sycophants to oversee crucial government functions, including law enforcement, national defense and public health. He has sought to disenfranchise large numbers of voters, claiming fraud that cannot be found, and championed an extreme new approach to partisan gerrymandering. He has physically besmirched the White House by demolishing the East Wing and financing a garish renovation with donations from wealthy allies.”

Exit polls: Netanyahu (50 seats) can't form a government. The opposition (52-53) can, if it gets over its racism and forms a government supported by Arab parties that gained 17-18 seats. Otherwise the most likely scenario is another election and Bibi remaining a caretaker PM.

🚨 Mississippi Senate candidate Scott Colom on visiting Trump's rally:
“I asked voters what mattered to them. You know what they said? Gas prices, grocery prices.”
“Some of the people were there... not even there as Trump supporters.”
One told him there was “nothing else to do tonight” and they were “gonna vote for me.”

Costs are too high, and communities like Marietta are being asked to shoulder even more — including the risks posed by wastewater injection wells that threaten their drinking water.
Marietta is a beloved community, and the people who call it home deserve lower costs, good jobs, clean water, and leaders who will put their health and safety first.
That's exactly why @amyactonoh has committed to a 3-year moratorium on wastewater injection wells in Washington County.

The Georgia Supreme Court just ruled that local Republican leaders cannot impose political loyalty tests to decide who gets to run in GOP primaries, rejecting an attempt by a far-right group that tried to block four candidates from running.
“It’s a shame that it took the Supreme Court to explain that voters get to choose candidates, not party insiders,” said Steven Henry, one of the candidates who sued. #gapol
