We are in the process of launching Vet Van Fleet, a nonprofit initiative designed to make veterinary care free and accessible for cats, especially in underserved and low-income communities. This effort is supported by a larger media and commerce ecosystem we’ve built over time, including FrancesAndFamily.com, CoolCatStuff.com (our Amazon Live show), TheGoodMeow.com, and FenceHole.org. Our work has been featured nationally in Newsweek (four features over a one-year period), as well as MSN, The Dodo, Cats.com, and other publications. We also operate as official partners on platforms such as YouTube and Amazon Live, and we’ve collaborated with established brands while maintaining a transparent, community-first approach. Up to this point, we’ve intentionally built everything ourselves, from websites and infrastructure to automation and content, to keep costs as low as possible. That approach allowed us to grow responsibly, but we’ve reached the stage where required legal and operational steps can’t be avoided. So then why did I still adopt her? Because I knew they were wrong. Shelters are overwhelming places. The noise, the confinement, the constant rotation of faces—it’s a high-stress environment for any animal. Yet, we make life-or-death decisions based on how they behave in that setting. If they were wrong about her, how many others have they been wrong about? Freya was labeled as aggressive. Unsafe. A risk. In reality, she was scared, in pain, and misunderstood. The moment she got out of that environment, she transformed. She wasn’t aggressive—she was desperate for love. I know we can’t save them all. But we can save more. And that starts with recognizing that an animal’s behavior in a shelter isn’t the full story. It’s just one chapter in a life that could still be filled with love, safety, and second chances. Hey fam, need your help! As you may know, I’m an ER vet tech assistant at an animal hospital. This baby just got dropped off in the parking lot. I found him while taking the trash out. His leg is fractured in 3 places. It’s either amputate or euthanize. I want to save him. But even with my discount, it’s gonna cost a few thousand dollars. I have a consultation with the surgery department this morning. If I start a GoFundMe, can you guys help me save this baby?
