Hoping to run 26.2 miles (a marathon) every week in 2021 in aid of LauraLynn Children’s hospice. These charities have been devastated due to C19 restrictions in 2020. All contributions big or small would be very welcome

Jim Davidson .. absolute classic.
Back when comedy, was actually comedy and not snowflakes being offended.
The last two people who it’s between to come for breakfast each morning are always faithfuls. You’d think they’d have copped that by now #TraitorsUK
Away for the weekend and can’t find the result of the county final anyway. What an absolute joke @WaterfordGAA is. No wonder we can’t win an all Ireland

This was Arséne Wenger's Arsenal strongest Starting Lineup when Abu Dhabi purchased Manchester City in 2008.
In 2008, Arsenal Football Club were valued at £600m and Manchester City valued at £200m.
Over the next 6 years, Manchester City had signed 50% of the outfield players from this very Arsenal team on massive wages, unaffordable to Arsenal.
➖ Gael Clichy
➖ Bakary Sagna.
➖ Kolo Toure
➖ Emmanuel Adebayor
➖ Samir Nasri
All financed by illegal financial doping.
When you hear about Premier League teams preparing to sue Manchester City for damages if City loose their appeal, you will think those clubs are just jealous of City's recent success.
It's not about being jealous, Manchester City really stepped on other Club's toes while building their own history.

Arsène Wenger:
🗣️ “There was a time we had £90 million turnover and we had to pay back £22 million per year for the stadium. I couldn’t sleep because we had to qualify for the Champions League to pay back the money.”
🗣️ “We had to sell our best players. Other clubs came in with lots of money but we were on the same level from 2007 to 2016.”
This is why so many Arsenal fans will forever defend Wenger.
While rivals were spending freely, Arsenal were carrying the weight of the Emirates project. Every summer meant losing key players and finding ways to remain competitive enough to secure Champions League football.
🔴 Sold stars
🔴 Balanced the books
🔴 Built a world-class stadium
🔴 Kept Arsenal among Europe’s elite
Wenger didn't just manage Arsenal through that era. He carried the club through one of the most difficult financial periods in its history.
The trophies are part of his legacy. But so is the fact that Arsenal emerged from that period stronger, financially stable and ready to compete again.
Arsène Wenger was talking about “financial doping” years ago.
He was mocked, dismissed and accused of being bitter because Arsenal weren’t winning anymore.
Now Manchester City have been found guilty of the vast majority of the Premier League’s financial charges.
I hope the apologies are as loud as the disrespect was back then.
Without Wenger's sacrifices, there is no Arsenal of today.

Arsène Wenger won 21 trophies in his managerial career. Imagine what he would’ve won if hadn’t been competing with Bernard Tapie, Roman Abramovich and Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
One of the great Premier league performances from Brighton. Overall standard in the league has never been higher. Sunderland outstanding last week too. #BHAARS

Lee Sharpe had everything you wanted from a winger in the early 90s: Pace, flair, skill and end product. There wasn’t a cooler player during that time. A real showman.
Still one of my favourite ever footballers. Should’ve had way more than 8 England caps.
Happy birthday, Lee!
