Your Stellantis vehicle may have two batteries!
2016-2025 Jeep, Ram, Dodge & Chrysler vehicles with the hated start stop system uses two batteries. It has a main battery and a smaller auxilliary battery.
The small, secondary 12-volt battery is designed to power your vehicle's electronics (like the radio, climate control, and lights) when the engine shuts off at a stop.
This prevents the main battery from being drained and allows for a quick restart. However the Engine Start-Stop system relies on this auxiliary battery to function correctly.
When it fails, it can cause a cascade of electrical issues, often making owners suspect a problem with the main battery or alternator when the true culprit is this hidden secondary battery.
So when having issues it is important that both batteries get checked. Many shops are reporting that the auxiliary batteries are failing quicker than the main battery.
It is highly recommended to replace both the main and auxiliary batteries at the same time for best results.

This is a watershed moment and it passed by almost unnoticed. Here we have British cops threatening a man with arrest for being “openly Jewish” at a pro-Hamas rally. Being Jewish in public where Muslims can see you in Sadiq Khan’s London is now officially a crime. Never mind that he’s standing quietly with his hands in his pockets while people chant “Nazi scum” at him: he’s visibly Jewish, which makes him clearly in the wrong.
Also worth noting: the fact that the cops, apparently incapable of preventing violence as long as this man is antagonizing the crowd by breathing Jewishly at them, have decided that the best way to deal with the problem of violent antisemitism is to side with the antisemitic mob. Arresting a Jew, whose very existence is an act of Islamophobia, is so much safer than protecting him and his right to be openly Jewish in 21st century Britain.
They wish they would go back to where they didn't come from.

As @DHSgov and @ICEgov have already made clear, this guy was not a “Texas father.” He’s an illegal alien whose very existence on American soil violated federal law every second of every day for 25 years.

A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. The pit bull, while often charming and pleasant, may more easily transform into a killing machine under the wrong circumstances than the playful Labrador, or the phlegmatic St. Bernard.
Is it then really much of a stretch to imagine that humans too, could be so bred?
And if a human breeder could thusly breed humans, even in theory, could we not bring ourselves to envisage that Nature herself may have bred certain populations of human beings to be as aggressive and unpredictable as the pit bull?

I quickly gave up trying to get a pilot's license when I realized crosswind landings were not for me because my depth perception is awful. I can fix an airplane but flying them is out.
Did they stop teaching pilots flying large jets to kick in the rudder just before you touch down in a heavy crosswind?
I constantly see videos of airplanes touching down in a crab and can't understand why they don't use the rudder to straighten the aircraft a few feet before touchdown.
If you do it right, you will not need to use much aileron until after touchdown, so there's no risk of hitting a wingtip. It's all about the timing of using rudder to straighten the nose down the centerline of the runway.

There is a little boy in Poland named Michael who only exists today because a 24-year-old American soldier from Staten Island stepped directly in front of a suicide bomber to save a man he barely knew.
If you want to know what real American heroism looks like, you need to know the name Staff Sergeant Michael Ollis.
It was 3:54 a.m. on August 28, 2013, at a forward operating base in Ghazni, Afghanistan. Most of the base was sleeping when a 3,000-pound car bomb ripped a massive hole through the eastern perimeter wall. Through the dust and the chaos, ten insurgents strapped with suicide vests poured into the compound.
Michael didn’t hesitate. After making sure his men were safe in a bunker, he ran directly toward the sound of the gunfire. He didn’t even have time to put on his protective equipment. Armed with only his rifle, Michael linked up with a Polish officer he had just met, Lieutenant Karol Cierpica.
Together, the two men stood shoulder-to-shoulder in the dark, fighting back the onslaught to protect the rest of the base. They killed eight of the attackers, and a ninth was shot after throwing a grenade. But then, from behind a row of shipping containers, the tenth bomber emerged.
As the terrorist charged them and detonated his suicide vest, Michael did the unthinkable. Without a second thought, the young man from Staten Island stepped directly in front of the blast, using his own body as a human shield to absorb the shockwave.
Michael was killed instantly. But because of his ultimate sacrifice, Karol Cierpica survived.
Karol eventually returned home to his family in Poland, carrying the unimaginable weight of a life bought by another man's blood. A couple of years later, Karol and his wife welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby boy.
They named him Michael.
Today, that little boy is a walking, breathing testament to the unbreakable bond of brotherhood and the sheer, unmatched courage of the American soldier. Michael Ollis was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor, but his true legacy isn't just a piece of metal—it's a father raising a son across the world, passing down the story of the American hero who gave him the ultimate gift of life.
