ApeFest was one of the most important events for Flextag so far.
It started to feel real on Thursday evening, when I pulled up to bowling, a little late after a flat tire.
I laid the Flextags out on the grass, and everyone gathered around, looking for their apes on metal.
We were finally meeting in person.
All that anticipation for ApeFest had become something we could hold and share, creating this moment together.
The main event was still two days away, but the excitement was already in the air.
I'm taking all of this into what comes next for Flextag.
More to explore with artists and wearable collectibles, and ideas I'd love to build on for next year's ApeFest.
Thank you for helping shape where this goes.

Who else is going to get the @alien_inks Artist Edition?
Who already has one?
If you’ve got one already drop a photo in the comments! 💪

Then came the goosebumps: seeing MY Ape on that huge @BoredApeYC wall at Beeple Studios. 🦍
We also got physical boxes of Mudwater, BAYC’s new trading card game, while holders received digital packs too.
From NFTs to something you can actually hold. 🔥
