The Three Reasons Why I’m Betting on Trey Murphy’s Points 🏀
1. Trey Murphy has had a slow start to the season and these lines reflect that. However, the Pelicans sharpshooter is a prime buy the dip candidate and gets a sneakily great game to do so against an undefeated Grizzlies team.
2. While the Grizzlies rank among the best in 3 point defense, they notably also rank among the highest in 3 point attempts allowed. I attribute much of their opponents poor three point shooting percentage to early season variance, and Murphy is the perfect opponent to exploit that.
3. Great game environment with a 234.5 total. Murphy will see 30+ minutes as long as the game is competitive, which is projects to be with a 5.5 spread. Need Murphy to get on a heater, and 15+ shot attempts with FT upside is very obtainable for the heatcheck scorer if he does!
No wonder the over was so high in this Queens/Winthrop game lol. 90+ points scored in the first half combined.
