Good riddance: The "Lion of the Confederacy" has now been removed from Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. It seems to have been removed last week, soon after the City Council announcement. Repeated re-decoration of the monument helped make this small victory possible.

UPDATE: Unstable militia leader Chris Hill of the III% Security Force has popped into the Telegram channel for the 8/29 anti-mask/anti-vax rally & shared his plans for the day. III%SF will gather at the GA Capitol starting 11:30AM, then convoy to the main rally @ Piedmont Park.

UPDATE: The "Worldwide" anti-vaxx/anti-mask rally has now been announced for 2PM Sun. Aug 29 (& again Sat 9/18) at Piedmont Park. It's unclear whether the III% Security Force militia still plans to go to the GA Capitol first on Aug 29, or just have their presence at Park.

Y’allywood is at it again. We were told this encampment would be forcibly removed by Monday so filming could take place here. It’s unacceptable to displace us without providing accommodations like film and TV do for any other groups.
