When Hurricane #Isaias left Bryan’s home in Milton, Florida, unlivable, he faced an impossible choice: find a way to keep his family of six on their property, or leave home and relocate.
As a veteran, Bryan has spent his life serving others. When this disaster left his own family in need, we wanted to make sure he didn’t have to face that choice alone so we brought an #emergencyRV directly to his property, giving Bryan and his family the stability to stay together while they work toward rebuilding.
EmergencyRV always takes care of our #veterans.
Thank you to @FLSERT for backing our work in every part of the recovery for #isaias survivors, and helping us get RVs where they’re needed faster.

⚠️ As coastal flooding continues along FL’s East Coast & the FL Keys, remember that saltwater can cause serious vehicle damage.
🚧 NEVER drive around barricades or through flooded roads.
📍 Avoid parking in flood-prone areas, especially around high tide.
🚫 Do NOT attempt to start or drive a vehicle exposed to saltwater.
Flood risk goes beyond the road & doesn’t stop when the water recedes. — Stay alert & be safe!
🤝 Recovery takes a team.

Florida has secured a Major Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Isaias, authorizing Individual Assistance for eight counties: Bay, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington.
This assistance provides critical federal resources to impacted Floridians for housing, home repairs, and other disaster-related needs. Residents can apply at DisasterAssistance.gov.
This follows the previous approval of Public Assistance for 15 counties to support emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities.
We will continue working with our federal partners to ensure impacted Floridians and communities receive the assistance they need to recover as quickly as possible.
