Women should not die because of where they live and who they are. At #ICM2023 Congress, we heard new insights on the first use of heat stable cabetocin, a uterotonic for the prevention of #PPH in #LMICs #MidwivesinBali #ICM2023 @world_midwives
New data shows that progress on reducing maternal deaths has stalled since 2015. This must change. At Ferring we believe no woman should die while giving birth. We attended #ICM2023 to discuss how we can empower midwives to support #SafeBirth across the world.

So glad to have worked alongside midwives almost since the inception of #IDM in 1987. I became assistant editor of the ‘Midwives Chronicle’ @MidwivesRCM journal in 1988 & subsequently worked for @world_midwives , @IolantheMidwife & @NCTcharity - good times! Happy #IDM2023 to all!
