MY MOTHER'S FIRST FLIGHT AT 85! ✈️❤️ Some experiences are so memorable that you keep talking about them long after they happen! In September, I treated my 85-year-old mother to something she had never experienced in her entire life: a flight from Kampala to Kanungu, her home district! For someone accustomed to making the 8–10-hour road journey, imagine her amazement when she discovered that the same journey could take just 1 hour and 15 minutes by air! She couldn't quite believe it. And the excitement hasn't worn off. She still talks about her experience! This beautiful experience was courtesy of Asante Aviation, and I must say, they made it truly special. From their warm customer care to their meet-and-greet service, the exceptionally caring crew and the seamless travel experience, everything was thoughtfully handled. Their hospitality is remarkable! Asante Aviation operates an 8-seater executive Grand Caravan, offering both charter and scheduled flights. Whether you are travelling for business, leisure, family visits or simply want to save yourself hours on the road, they offer an option worth exploring. And here is what I really want my fellow Ugandans to consider: Why should travelling to some of our beautiful upcountry destinations have to mean enduring 8–10 hours on the road when flying can get you there in just over an hour? Perhaps it is time we changed our perception of air travel. Flying shouldn't always be seen as an extravagant luxury reserved for a select few. It can also be a practical, convenient and time-saving way to travel. We need to start embracing the possibilities available to us and raising our expectations of the travel experiences we can enjoy right here in Uganda. Asante Aviation, thank you for giving my mother an experience she will probably talk about for years to come. At 85, she has a new travel story to tell! Uganda, perhaps it is time to take to the skies! 🇺🇬✈️ #AsanteAviation #FlyUganda #ExploreUganda #TravelSmart #UgandaFromAbove
