Self respect is what it’s called.
Everyone is going through shit, but having the self respect to not beg in public is what differentiates you from others.
“Closed mouths don’t get fed” is a line desperate people came up with to justify doing anything for money.
I’d rather take loans from friends privately and refund privately than post my account details for a public giveaway (which you may not end up receiving).
Having a healthy level of self respect regardless of how hungry you are, is key.
If you are comfortable with hustling for giveaways on public platforms, you can definitely hustle for APC bread and palliatives.
If you like call me proud and classist, I agree.
My self respect and home training know better than to demean myself by joining a public giveaway.
Even if I am starving, better make I collect Okash loan than drop my account on X to beg for giveaway.

In my jurisdiction and by our Rules of Court, this is improper dressing and the court can deny you right of audience, silk or not.
