Zelenskyy: "When our strikes reached Yandex data centers, it suddenly became little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. Many people noticed it.
There was less hate, less division, fewer provocations because there were fewer bots. It's pretty clear where those bots were coming from.
If they disappeared when Yandex went offline, this proves once again that Europe is not the source of the problems."
The big problem is that Russia figured out how modern society consumes information a decade ago, but the West hasn't.
There are millions of bots commenting and posting Russian propaganda. There are paid influencers spreading it, with Russian bots supporting their content.
There is a gigantic machine operating to radicalize and influence Western societies, and there is not enough defense in place.
It doesn't just influence elections, it sows discord, engulfs societies in culture wars, radicalizes teenagers, and shapes political decisions when elected officials fail to read the room.
That needs to change. And fast.

There’s nothing quite like #Canada during the fall. Fiery maples, golden forests, mirrored lakes and crisp autumn air make fall a spectacular time to explore Canada’s natural beauty. In your opinion, where is the best Canadian place to travel to in the fall? 🍁🍂
Where does the ☮️ come from?
In 1958, English artist Gerald Holtom designed the peace sign using intersecting semaphore letters—a communication system historically used by the military—N (for Nuclear) and D (for Disarmament). The official logo for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the now-ubiquitous peace sign has inspired countless variations of anti-nuclear designs, from posters to T-shirts and buttons. Artists Against the Bomb is a direct extension and amplification of this design-driven call to action.
Swing by MoMA PS1 to see Artists Against the Bomb in Homeroom, on view through Feb 8.

ALT Three protest signs are displayed vertically on a wall. The sign on the left features the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) logo with the word "Nuclear" and an arrow pointing upward. The middle sign shows a similar CND logo with the word "Disarmament" and an arrow pointing downward. The right sign displays the peace symbol. All signs have black backgrounds.

There was a time when Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour was earning so much money that he described the amount as “obscene.” He recalled how he would spend his mornings writing checks to charities, simply trying to find a meaningful way to use his enormous wealth. But one day, he decided to go even further. After selling his London home for £4.5 million, Gilmour donated the entire proceeds to Crisis, a charity helping homeless people. “I don’t need that money, and I just thought it would be the right thing to do,” he modestly explained.
Reflecting on life with his characteristic wisdom, Gilmour spoke about the simplicity he had come to value: “You start collecting Ferraris, then you have to buy buildings to put them in, and then you have to employ people to look after the people who look after all your possessions. Life becomes very complicated. And at some point — at least, that’s what happened to me — you find yourself thinking, ‘I don’t need any of this.’ And suddenly, life becomes simpler.”

Trump Won Nothing on Greenland: This Is All Posturing for His Base:
As a Canadian watching from next door, I see right through Trump’s latest announcement in the last 30 minutes.
He is SO desperate to frame this new Greenland security agreement as a massive historic triumph, but the reality is simple: Denmark and Greenland gave up absolutely nothing.
- This is a soft deal wrapped in rhetoric, specifically designed to look like a win for his base.
The truth is that the United States already has a long-standing military presence in Greenland, including Pituffik Space Base. This "new" agreement mostly reiterates arrangements that previous governments put in place long before Trump ever took office.
He is COMPLETELY posturing because his administration is failing, and he is terrified of what would actually happen if the U.S. tried to assert real, uninvited military control there.
To Canadians, Greenlanders, and citizens around the world: do not worry....
- This is just empty bluster.
Greenland is not a part of the United States and never will be, and its sovereignty remains intact.
No amount of social media boasting can change that fact.
We must all step back, ignore the pathetic loser, and recognize this announcement for exactly what it is—meaningless political theater from a failure who thinks he's an actual president.... when in actuality, he's a nothing.
The world stands with Greenland.
