People who don’t want socialism because “there will be bread lines.” I volunteer at a food giveaway once a month and I hate to break it to you, but the line of cars is getting longer and longer. Every skin color. Right now, under capitalism.

If you’ve never seen Star Trek, I strongly recommend watching the Next Generation Season 5 episodes “Darmok and “The Inner Light”. Brilliant episodes which centre around Patrick Stewart as Picard.

I was outside the Tommy Robinson court case earlier today and didn’t realise. Just seen a bunch of people and the media outside the court, spent around 5 minutes trying to figure out what it was for and Google told me it was Russell Brand. Turns out it was both.

Some girls thought it was for Chris Brown and another one told them that he’d already been charged and one of the girls shouted out “for WHAT????” 🙃

Actually not true. 16 hours at £13.20 an hour is £844.80 a month. You lose 55p of your universal credit for every £1 you earn in a month, so for most single childless people over 25, you lose Universal Credit after earning £772.54 in a month.
Do 16 hours store cleaning and get your universal credit and rent paid for Your "take home" will actually be higher than the Deputy Store Manager Dig deep Britpoors

I really don’t think ASDA care if you’ve gotten £60 worth of shopping and paid 30 quid or a £60 video game and paid 30 quid, at the end of the day they’re sacrificing £30 of income in exchange for your details and you having an account with them. That’s what they care about.

I started university in September 2015, a month before the minimum wage went up to £6.70 an hour. Just under £14k a year if you were full time. So at the time, we were being told we’d only be paying anything back if we earned over 2x the minimum wage.
When I applied to university, we were told that most of us didn't have to worry about repaying our student loans because repayment would only kick in when you start earning £29,000.

The personal allowance in 2015 was £10,600, so a minimum wage full time worker would have been paying £667.20 a year in income tax. The personal allowance has been frozen at £12,570 since 2021, so a full time min wage worker will now be paying £2,977.20 a year income tax.

Neither do I, but two things to note about this repo. 1) Producing a matching decompilation of the CPS3 ROM would have taken YEARS of unpaid work. A huge part of why PS2 3rd Strike went from 13% to 100% in about 3 months was because I personally dedicated about 8 hours a day…
Lameeeeeee….. at least there’s an AI disclosure, but I’m really not liking the state of decomps right now

Producing a matching decompilation is significantly harder when you don’t have those debug symbols. That difficulty is multiplied when you don’t have access to the specific version of the compiler the target ROM was built with. The fact that an LLM can build this is incredible.

2) You aren’t going to be running this code. Not every decompilation/reverse engineering project is done with the intention of you, an end user, being able to play the game on PC. This is just code we can use as a reference for other things.

>game ported to pc >ask dev if it’s a port based on decompiled code or if it’s an emulator wrapper >he doesn’t understand >pull out diagram explaining matching decomps and ahead-of-time recompilation >he laughs and says “it’s running natively on PC, sir” >it’s an emulator wrapper
“native pc port” and you need nintendo switch prod keys. do not play in my fucking face bro
