We shipped docs for one of our most-requested features: user-defined build jobs! We're excited to already see users adapting our platform for tools like Poetry & Doxygen. Learn more in our docs on the topic with some examples to get you started: docs.readthedocs.io/en/lates…

Excited about the latest big feature we shipped on @readthedocs. It will allow a bunch of additional uses for our platform, and we have plans for even more ability to extend the platform in the near future. ✨✨

It will be darkly comical if the cryptocurrency economy was Dusseldorf for overlevered Chinese real estate speculation.

50 years of independence for Bangladesh. 4 men shot dead in Chattogram for protesting against the arrival of the Indian PM to attend the ceremonies. 4 humans. Shot dead. By our own police. Yes, happy 50th independence day.

I want to thanks @saad_mk11 publicly for all the help he is bringing to us in a big and tricky refactor we are doing on @readthedocs I'm enjoying discussing to him about how to tackle this and make it work without downtime!
Was looking into @github actions and saw that I can trigger a workflow at a scheduled time. So, I used it to update open source projects listed on my resume and wrote a blog post on it @ThePracticalDev dev.to/saadmk11/how-i-use-gi…. This is my First blog post. 🎉🎉

In this vacation season, you may also try to create your own Open Source project! 😉 There are lot of space where open source have not touched yet, can you comment some?
In this vacation season, donate some of your time to Open Source projects! @readthedocs @MozDevNet

🔥 If you can't find the answer to a question after 5-10 minutes of Googling, write a blog post when you find the solution. You'll save yourself and other people a bunch of trouble in the future.

great and long thread about bringing IT and business together: "put IT in charge" who would disagree with that in IT, but it goes into a lot of details why 😉
X : Any chance we can meet for coffee? Me : Virtual or in person? X : In person. Me : Whereabouts? X : I'll be in London next month. Me : Ok, A coffee shop in London Hythe. X : Where's that. Me : About 70 miles away. X : Something a bit more local? Me : Hythe is local ... to me.

I am one of the mentor of "pull request doc builder". Let me know if you have any specific requirements about it! 😉 @saad_mk11 and I will try to implement that for you!
We're excited to have @dojutsu_user and @saad_mk11 as GSoC 2019 students this year! They will be spending their summers with us working on projects that make the UX of Read the Docs better: search autocomplete & a pull request doc builder. More details: summerofcode.withgoogle.com/…

If your job involves making git commits, you have to learn how to git rebase. You can't keep using the excuse that you don't know how. Stop and learn how. Managers, give them time to learn. We need to break out of this cycle. It's just not productive.

My submission: I was close to quitting working on open source. I wrote a blog post about quitting, but never published it. After a long, slow slog we took Read the Docs from a project without funding to a team with 5 paid staff; all without compromising our morals.
