We can't stop admiring these incredible photos taken of our #MaterialMatters exhibition by @QESTcraft scholar and woodturner extraordinaire Max Bainbridge @forestandfound 📷
Beautiful craft + Cotswold stone walls = Perfection!
ALT Material Matters exhibition at Court Barn by Max Bainbridge. In focus in the foreground, a Land Jar made from wood by Max Bainbridge. In the background, a white quilted textile piece by Abigail Booth, hanging in front of the Cotswold stone wall of Court Barn.
ALT Material Matters exhibition at Court Barn by Max Bainbridge. Multicoloured ceramic piece by Alice Walton, resembling a ring on top of a semi circle. The semi circle is made from blue, yellow and stone coloured pieces of porcelain, layered on top of one and other.

The Land Jars and Alice Walton ceramic piece form the centre of the photo, while a large round willow sculpture by basketweaver Susan Early sits at the bottom left of the image. An example of thatching work on a wooden rectangle base by Jack Richardson can be seen at the back, propped up against the back wall of the museum.

Tories
If you're white Ukrainians we'll bring you into our homes & stop buying oil from your persecutors.
If you're from Africa/Middle-East we'll send you to concentration camps in Rwanda while selling bombs to the people who blew up your home.
But we're definitely not racist.

If we delay emission cuts we “will miss a brief and rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all.”
Every sentence describing the new #IPCC report is completely life changing. Literally everything is at stake.

The British government helped this girl in glasses escape war and brought her to safety. She was my great aunt, caught on camera by @apnews in 1938 as the first kindertransport arrived. Because of what the British government did she was safe for her 12th birthday two days later.

Thousands fleeing their country, many fearing they’re losing their country. #Ukraine . Only 6 months ago we saw this, in very different circumstances, in #Afghanistan . What’s wrong with our world 🌎??

The right to protest is not a gift of government, it’s one of our most precious democratic rights
This Govt is trying to remove that right
That's why I support peaceful protests against the #PolicingBill @killthebill_1

Remember - slavery, segregation & Holocaust all legal at the time

I'm really worried about the direction this country is going. Our human rights are being stripped, while our leaders are abusing their power & not being held accountable.
I'm scared because this is a perfect recipe for radicalisation & people turning to conspiracy theories.
