Please.. DANCE teachers let’s go SLOWER ... let’s take the time to demand the tiny details that are missing yes they are tedious yes they aren’t glamorous .. but those are what make a beautiful body line ... we are skipping way too many steps SLOW DOWN – at South Carolina, USA
What happened to choreography with actual steps?? Everything is just dramatic arm movements, rolling around on the floor, and maybe a turn section

I really wish choreographers thought their choreography through. For the kids. The minors. The non-adults. Does your 13 year old need to hump the floor? Does your 11 year old boy need to sexily remove the skirt from a 10 year old girl? Does your 8 year old need stripper moves?...

I’ve never known anything but full out. I honestly owe a huge thank you to my mentors and teachers over the years because now it’s habit. Work ethic is cool kids. The harder you work, the better the work.
Don't skip dance class and then cry when you don't get placed well in a dance. Commitment is part of putting a show together.
Dance is so hard but we tell stories with our bodies! We are art! We are dancers and that's what we do. ♥
What do people have against tights like I’d rather see you wear tights than have your entire butt hanging out of your costume
The only times you should yell during a dance at a comp:
When the dance is announced
When the dance is finished
When someone does something hard/impressive
Anything else is just distracting and annoying
How are you gonna complain about everyone else not being on time with the music when you’re not even on time with the music
