Active on X again for a reason: From 1 August, I will be the Interim Director of the @FESonline UN Office Geneva. 🇨🇭🇺🇳 What an honour. Already in #Geneva. Had this great view today - and visited our office. Let's get started. We need multilateralism and @UNGeneva. Especially now.
It was a pleasure to meet @BMAS_Bund State Secretaries Kerstin Griese and Katja Mast in #Geneva this week. They were in Geneva to see the @ilo in action and gain insights into its work.
Great exchange in Geneva! @BMAS_Bund Parliamentary State Secretaries Kerstin Griese & Katja Mast met with Amb. Leendertse on UN system challenges, as well as with @BeateAndrees @ilo and partners on core labour standards, climate change and AI in the world of work.
The networking opportunities in #Geneva are truly impressive - and the German Unity Day reception hosted by @GermanyUNGeneva was a great example of that this week. 🇩🇪🇪🇺

A full week for our FES #Geneva team - and it is still not over! Besides all other activities we also supported a group of journalists who visited the @wto #WTOPublicForum. On their last day, they will have several discussions at our office today to reflect on the forum and trends in international trade!
Our FES #Geneva exhibition on 60 years International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights has made it now from Quai Wilson to @UNGeneva. You can visit it at #PalaisdesNations. And in less than half an hour we are also hosting a side event to #hrc63 on the #ICCPR @UN_HRC - in parallel to our side-event at the nearby #WTOPublicForum
