After 60 years as the Rome Art and Community Center, the Carpenter Center is embracing a new name that honors its history while looking toward the future ✨
The Carpenter Center makes the arts accessible through free and low-cost programs and events, including musical and visual arts experiences and award-winning children’s programming 🎶🎨
These offerings give community members of all ages opportunities to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and connect 💛

Ilion Little Theatre has entertained Mohawk Valley audiences every year since 1924. What began as a private club performing in a founder’s attic grew into a community theater housed in “The Stables,” a former carriage house on the Philo Remington estate.
