This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." Credit to: Jim Keller

🇺🇦🇷🇺 RUSSIAN SOURCES SAY AN ENTIRE ASSAULT COMPANY HAS BEEN WIPED OUT NEAR KHARKIV Russian sources are reporting the complete destruction of the 4th Motorized Rifle Company of Russia’s 127th Motorized Rifle Regiment during recent fighting along the Belgorod-Kharkiv axis. The company belonged to the regiment’s 2nd Battalion, which has been involved in operations around Vovchansk and neighboring sectors of northern Kharkiv Oblast. If confirmed, the loss would represent a serious blow to the unit. The exact number of soldiers killed, wounded, captured or missing has not been established, and the claim of the company’s complete destruction remains unverified. What makes the reports particularly striking is that they are emerging from Russian sources themselves. Russian military channels have repeatedly circulated appeals from relatives searching for soldiers who disappeared after being sent into combat. Some families have been left without clear information about whether their loved ones are alive, wounded, captured or dead. These accounts contrast with Moscow’s official emphasis on territorial advances and successful offensive operations. The northern Kharkiv front has become a costly battlefield, with Russian forces continuing to commit personnel to attacks around Vovchansk despite persistent Ukrainian resistance. Losing an entire company is not simply a matter of replacing names on a personnel roster. Combat experience, coordination between soldiers, familiarity with the terrain and effective small-unit leadership take time to develop. Replacements cannot immediately restore those capabilities. For Russian commanders, continuing assaults with depleted formations can create additional problems, particularly when surviving personnel are exhausted and newly assigned troops have limited experience operating together. The reported destruction of the 4th Company does not establish the wider condition of the 127th Regiment or prove that Russian operations in the sector have collapsed. But if the Russian accounts are accurate, they provide another indication of the human cost Moscow’s forces are absorbing in their attempts to advance through northern Kharkiv Oblast. Behind the battlefield reports are Russian families still searching for answers about soldiers who never returned from their missions.

ON and the LNP appear to favour Australia reverting to a previous century of dirty coal and CSG pollution, as their wealthy backers stand to gain greater profit.

Always question propaganda spread by RWNJ and the Murdoch gutter press. Is that the truth, or did you read it in the Murdoch press?
The price of electricity in Victoria’s state grid was lower than every other major economy for the first nine months of 2026, according to Rystad Energy. This will be devastating news for those who insist the exact opposite is happening.

Pete Hegseth was thoroughly embarrassed by Senator Tammy Duckworth. Senator Tammy Duckworth—a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who lost both her legs while serving in Iraq—pressed Hegseth with a question: Tammy Duckworth: "I’m glad you brought that up. Can you name even one ASEAN member country and explain what kind of agreement we have with it? And, while you’re at it, do you know how many countries are in ASEAN? Frankly, I’m not even sure you know who our allies are." Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: "Well, I can’t give you the exact number, but I certainly know who our allies are: South Korea, Japan, and Australia..." Tammy Duckworth: "None of the countries you just mentioned are members of ASEAN. I suggest you do your homework better before engaging in these kinds of discussions." The level of incompetence of the person leading the Pentagon—it’s simply unbelievable.

53 orangutans have now been rescued from forests devastated by fires in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the scale of destruction is horrifying. More than 48,500 hectares have burned this year. Orangutans are being found starving, injured and desperately searching for food in forests that have been destroyed. These are critically endangered animals losing the very habitat they depend on to survive. How much wildlife must suffer before protecting forests becomes a priority rather than an afterthought?

Last year, Trump invited Conor McGregor to the White House… after the MMA wrestler raped a woman so brutally that her tampon had to be surgically removed. A forensic examiner testified this in court, and McGregor was found GUILTY of rape by a 12-person jury. Oh, AND a paramedic who examined her testified that she "had not seen a patient as bruised as her in a long time." SOMEHOW, THIS QUALIFIED HIM FOR A TRUMP WHITE HOUSE VISIT. Birds of a feather 🪶
