Pritzker takes joy in Elon Musk losing half a billion on the midterms. That’s a drop in the bucket for someone like Musk.
Meanwhile, the same self-funding billionaire has spent tens of millions of his own family money to stay in office for three terms.
The results speak for themselves: Illinois has the highest combined state and local tax rates in the country, still has the lowest credit rating of any state, and companies continue to leave.
If @JBPritzker can openly talk about forcing Republicans to burn money and then smile at the outcome, why should the rest of us in Illinois believe he gives a damn that he’s emptying our wallets?

Nurse Practitioner decided it was professionally appropriate to get in her car, turn on a camera, and film herself cheerfully singing a song whose opening lyric is “Fuck Donald Trump.”
This was a deliberate public display of contempt for half the country, including many of her own patients. Healthcare requires that clinicians treat people without political hostility. Once that presumption is so openly abandoned, Trump-supporting patients are left asking a simple question: why should they trust their care won’t be tainted by the same hatred she performed on camera?

🚨 SENATE CONSERVATIVES DEMAND GOP WORK THROUGH JANUARY — EIGHT WEEKS LEFT BEFORE DEMOCRATS TAKE CONTROL
Republican Sens. Mike Lee and Rick Scott are demanding an aggressive final legislative push following the GOP’s devastating midterm defeats.
Lee says Republicans still have eight weeks in the majority and substantial unfinished business.
Scott wants the Senate working every day, including holidays, until Democrats take control in January. He’s also backing calls to reconsider the timing of GOP leadership elections.
The pressure is building on Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
Among the unfinished priorities are election-security legislation, spending reforms and judicial confirmations.
Republicans controlled the White House and both chambers of Congress, yet several major campaign promises remain unresolved.
Now the clock is running out.
But here’s the challenge: Republicans still face Senate procedural hurdles, including the 60-vote threshold for most legislation. Staying in session alone won’t guarantee passage.
The central question is whether GOP leadership will pursue additional votes, negotiate legislative compromises or allow major priorities to expire when the new Congress convenes.
With their majority ending January 3, Republicans have limited time to turn their remaining legislative authority into actual results.

FBI AND DHS SEIZE VOTE COUNTING MACHINES IN TEXAS AND ARIZONA

Austin, TX - November 7, 2026
The FBI in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security is currently seizing vote counting machines in Texas and Arizona with Nevada to follow. These states along with California share a border with Mexico a primary entry point for large numbers of illegal immigrants who crossed during previous Democratic administrations. The policy involved keeping the borders open to facilitate the influx of an undocumented population thereby securing votes without the requirement of presenting identification. The machines now under federal control contain the records of those registrations.
This situation presents an opportunity for the policies of Donald Trump. It is a case of flushing the snakes out of their dens and casting a net to catch the fish. The voter registration process requires names and addresses so ICE can locate the individuals who registered without citizenship verification. Officials who previously claimed the border crossings produced no voting impact must now address the machine data. The seizures place the full registration lists into the hands of federal investigators.
Previously when the individuals were hiding in private residences they were much harder to track down. The registration records remove that barrier and allow targeted enforcement. Americans who support secure borders and accurate elections now have the machine seizures as the next step in the review. The full contents of the seized equipment must remain under federal examination while the connection between the open border and the voter rolls is documented. The operation continues in the border states that recorded the largest registration increases.
