Our very own @UofG_MCMP @fred_rendell gave a fantastic talk on correlative microscopy of phase transitions in barocalorics at @IoP_EMAG #EMAG2024 🔬🔥
New work just published in Advanced Materials ! doi.org/10.1002/adma.2024011…. Using atomic resolution electron microscopy in @UofG_MCMP @UofGPhysAstro, we elucidate strain induced magnetic behaviours in antiperovskite thin films, important for next-generation computing.
My new research on materials for next-gen heating & cooling technologies: Understanding variations of thermal hysteresis in barocaloric plastic crystal neopentyl glycol using correlative microscopy and calorimetry doi.org/10.1088/2515-7655/ad… @JPhysEnergy @UofG_MCMP @UofGPhysAstro
