Communist mass murderer Mao Zedong died on this day in 1976.
He presided over a regime of extreme oppression, forced labor, terror, and famine. Historians estimate that 40 to 80 million Chinese were killed as a result of his evil rule.

These propaganda campaigns from terror-apologists are exhausting.
A few things:
The entire Haaretz (which has been among the worst sources of misinformation and propaganda during the war) report is based on anonymous sources, mostly from the Arab world, and has no supporting evidence. Much of it is clearly not believable.
There are two central “bombshell” claims.
1) Netanyahu was warned by the UAE President about a coming Hamas action in a phone call and did not pass it along to his intelligence chiefs.
Several points:
- Netanyahu’s office denies they even had a phone call during the named period. UAE hasn’t confirmed it either.
- The warning was very vague. It does not claim to have had any specifics related to date or what the plan would be. Hamas would launch escalations (usually rocket barrages) constantly so such a warning would not necessarily raise red flags. It certainly wouldn’t mean Israel should expect a 10/7 unprecedented style attack.
There is other evidence to suggest they should have had better warning and reacted quicker, but not that anyone knew about the specific date or attack plan. In fact, even senior Hamas leaders outside Gaza seemed to be in the dark on the specifics beforehand.
- None of that somehow exonerates the people who committed the horrendous crimes that day. Who invaded villages, burned down houses, murdered families, raped women, kidnapped innocents etc
The attempt to shift the blame from the perpetrators to the victims is despicable and clearly intentional, whatever failures that the Israeli government had.
2) The second claim being that there was an attempt to somehow offer the release of all the “civilian hostages” is obviously absurd and makes no sense. It only serves those looking to spin up lies to cover for genocidal terrorists
- Why would they offer to immediately return people they just intentionally took in a coordinated effort as hostages?
- If they wanted to return them, why didn’t they do so? They ended up murdering many of them
- It also undermines the entire Hamas strategy, which wasn’t new. Of using hostages to secure the release of terror prisoners in Israel. Which is what they eventually did.
- There was a more credible suggestions that Hamas offered to release some hostages after if Israel promised not to go into Gaza, but that is an insane hostage demand for a group that just launched a war by murdering 1200 people. Starting war has consequences.
Anyways, this is clearly not a believable claim with no credible sourcing… highlighted in service of an effort by people like Mehdi to provide cover for murderous terrorists he spends much of his time trying to defend via whataboutism and similar deflections.

High bond market returns mean lower economic growth (because bond prices go up when interest rates go down).
So this is Trump's idiotic Treasury Department bragging about hurting the economy with tariffs.
They really are that stupid.
U.S. Treasuries are having their best year since 2020, and the investors who had confidence and faith in President Trump’s economic policies have been richly rewarded.
Never bet against @POTUS or America! 🇺🇸

Like in 2020, rising bonds are associated with economic downturns.

Our government should not have ownership in private companies. There are so many specific problems with an arrangement like this, but fundamentally, this is not who we are as a country.
BIG NEWS: The United States of America now owns 10% of Intel, one of our great American technology companies.
This historic agreement strengthens U.S. leadership in semiconductors, which will both grow our economy and help secure America’s technological edge.
Thanks to Intel CEO @LipBuTan1 for striking a deal that’s fair to Intel and fair to the American People.

Everyone is having a debate about what the political math will look like 4 months from now, rather than a conversation about the fact that the president of our country is—right now, at this very moment—incapable of doing his job during a time of global crisis. He needs to resign.

I have some free unsolicited advice for Harvard University.
1. Stop listening to the apologists for plagiarism.
2. Fire Claudine Gay posthaste. She can be relieved of duties until the terms are negotiated.
3. Stop listening to the racist mob of whites and blacks who cry racism while being among the worst offenders.
4. Hire the best man or woman who can steer the university back towards sanity. Appeasing the Marxist identity politics mob should not be a consideration. The person for the job might be a middle to older age white Jewish man who believes in classical liberalism.
5. Have a sit down conversation with the people who have been harmed by the plagiarism of Gay and the system that protects her.
6. Recognize that Harvard’s systematic racism and classism have far reaching effects.
7. Apologize to alumni, students, parents, and donors who have been harmed and embarrassed.

Plus, she tried to get Roland Fryer's tenure revoked over some Title IX bullsh.. Just sayin'...
