Couple of years ago I built a 3D-printed telescope and watched Saturn with my own eyes (one eye, it's no binocular haha) and it was absolutely magical moment for me. I'd love to have a balcony and a better telescope to look at the stars and planets more in summer

Zooming in on the Moon and Saturn using an Orion XT8 Dobsonian telescope. This is the closest you'd see them in 2026.

I know what I'll be reading this evening
Lukas Hermann@_lhermannOct 22
Not sure anyone cares, but I documented every nitty gritty detail of creating a German company ... all 104 days of it. Every letter. Every online form. Hopefully this will help some of my fellow founders. lukashermann.dev/writing/fro…

From Einzelunternehmen to GmbH – every step, every letter

How I turned a German sole proprietorship with a profitable SaaS into a GmbH plus holding. The real timeline, the real costs, the real letters, and the traps nobody tells you about.

What I was absolutely not ready for is that 1TB SSD won't be enough for my macbook pro. I mean, I constantly have to clean it up, agentic development just eats it

I kinda have no doubts that Jev-like experience will in a week or two be available in both OpenAI and Anthropic models, so I'm just letting myself being lazy and don't jump the hype train. It all will be there, eventually

I did some analysis of my previous work and decided to make fosstosaas.com/ a paid newsletter instead of free one. It will cost €14.99 one time after launch. If you join the waitlist before launch, you'll get it for free.

I guess it's a good time to remind about fosstosaas.com/: my soon-to-be-started newsletter where I'm going to share my experience of turning a free open-source tool into a SaaS earning money
