Miracles really can happen. Today was my surgery to amputate part of my finger. Apparently once I was out, my surgeon saw my finger and said he couldn’t take it. Somehow the osteomyelitis is healing on its own I’m so overwhelmed with joy, it doesn’t even seem real!!! ❤️

I received some tough news yesterday. I’ve had time to process things & accept my new reality. Last week I had an infection pop up in my finger out of nowhere, and x-rays showed it was in the bone. They need to amputate up from the top knuckle on my left index finger. (1/?)

been through worse. At the age of 16 I was told I would never walk again. Then 2 surgeries with 42 operations later, here I am walking again. All this to say, I’m gonna be alright. I’m just gonna need some time to navigate all this. Much love ❤️ (4/4)
