Support includes secondary academic advising, peer academic coaches, academic success tools, and the opportunity to apply for a Supplemental Grant Aid! Our advisor helps troubleshoot challenges during the academic process and will refer you to necessary resources! You can also reach out to a Peer Academic Coaches for tutoring in specialized subjects, support in creating and reviewing papers, and for academic strategies such as time management. As a program participant, you get access to academic success tools include noise cancelling headphones, laptops, iPads, Apple pencils, and voice recorders! Keep an eye out for our Supplemental Grant Aid application where you can be awarded a minimum of $650! Contact us to see how to receive these services.

ALT Eligibility1. Demonstrate financial need2. Enrolled in at least six units for Fall 20233. Eligible for financial aid through FAFSA for the 23-24 academic year4. Awarded the Federal Pell Grant5. Have not been awarded their full Cost of Attendance
ALT If you have any questions about eligibility, please contact your TRIO Advisor. To apply, please see the “Fall 2023 Supplemental Grant Aid Application” email send to your student email. You can also pick up a paper application at Services for Students with Disabilities located in the Library, Room 1202.
ALT Please note that priority is given to students who are in their first two years of post secondary education, have completed all Participant Requirements, or are an active TRIO SSS-D participant. For full consideration, please have your application submitted by Tuesday, October 3rd.

Students also met peers and learned more about them by completing a sheet that asked students to find someone who matched different subjects such as having a pet, majoring in science, or being a commuter.
