Here's a quick visual tip to improve borders in your interfaces: use opacity instead of a solid color, and default to outside borders.
Solid strokes look great on neutral backgrounds, but appear muddy or blurry if used on top of colors.

My firm, @atreidesmgmt, will be voting in favor of Elon Musk’s performance-based compensation package.
And I would prefer that *every* company I invest in have a comparable plan.
I believe shareholders should generally support thoughtfully structured performance-based CEO compensation packages because they incentivize CEOs to create transformational growth and value. The basic logic of these plans is the CEO gets 10% of the incremental value creation if they 10x the stock with a 2x hurdle. So shareholders get a 900% stock increase and the CEO gets an incremental 10%.
The first Tesla plan incented Elon to >10x the value of Tesla. He achieved all of the milestones and may never be paid for this. The Axon plan incented Rick Smith to >5x the value of Axon and he did. And when milestones aren’t met (such as Farfetch), then the CEOs don’t receive the payouts. The new Tesla plan is arguably better than the first as it also includes financial and technological milestones in addition to market cap-based incentives.
Tesla was founded to fight climate change and decarbonize the world. They have succeeded: because of Tesla the world is now on a glide path to significantly lower per capita emissions as EVs of all types replace combustion engines. The world is going to run on sunlight. And while Optimus has the potential to be a great product that will bring about sustainable abundance, Elon absolutely wants to make sure that it is also a safe product. We have all seen "Terminator" and ensuring the safety of Optimus is why he needs a greater voting stake in Tesla.
Elon's involvement is integral to maintaining Tesla’s current course and trajectory. Without proper alignment and incentivization, I think it is possible that he will focus more on his other goals: (i) helping humanity become a multiplanetary civilization, (ii) creating a BCI to improve the lives of paralyzed and soon blind humans that also paves the way for humans to continue to add value to the world post ASI, (iii) helping to create a multipolar AI world that is safer for humans, and (iv) ensuring that at least one of these AIs is dedicated to the truth. All of these are worthy goals, but so is sustainable abundance here on earth and so is having at least one public company that benefits from his efforts and is accessible to all Americans.
If this vote fails, Robyn Denholm, the chair of Tesla’s board, noted that Elon might leave. Elon is mission critical for Optimus and if he leaves, it seems possible that Optimus might be made by a company other than Tesla – whether xAI or SpaceX or some JV - with Tesla receiving some sort of revenue share in return for their contributions to date in the spirit of fairness that Elon has always followed with his investors.
I believe it is highly likely that Tesla’s stock would decline significantly should Elon leave and even more should the Optimus team leave with him. If this compensation package is approved, I will be rooting for him as a shareholder as he works super hard to achieve the value-creating milestones that would benefit both him and shareholders. I do not know how other shareholders feel, but I would certainly like another 10x in Tesla and simply do not believe this is possible without Elon.
Every vote matters because from my perspective many proxy voting firms are no longer primarily focused on shareholder value creation and the corporate governance departments at many investment firms feel bound to follow their decisions. The silliness of their concerns about dilution are self-evident in that the dilution would only occur after substantial share price appreciation for Tesla. I want my 10x.
I should note that @atreidesmgmt is an investor in many of Elon Musk’s companies. @atreidesmgmt invests in these companies because I regard Elon as an exceptional founder who has repeatedly created significant value in different industries.

high agency is the most important quality you'll ever look for in people.
It's the difference between someone who sees a locked door and walks away, versus someone who finds the key, picks the lock, or builds a new door.
Here's what I've learned about high agency and why it changed my life:
But what is high agency?
High agency people don't wait for permission. When they hit an obstacle, they find another way. They ask "how can I make this happen?" instead of listing reasons why it can't.
They take ownership of problems that aren't theirs. They learn skills they need rather than waiting for someone to teach them. They create opportunities instead of waiting for them.
Low agency people are spectators. They mock others for trying. They're comfortable with excuses. They treat obstacles as stop signs instead of puzzles.
And it matters more than you think:
Your life is the average of the agency of people around you.
Choose a low agency partner? You'll spend your life hearing why things can't be done.
Choose a high agency co-founder? You'll accomplish 10x what you thought possible. My co-founder Rafi is like this - every problem becomes a project, every setback becomes a learning opportunity.
high agency people don't just change their own lives, they change everyone around them.
How to spot it?
1. Look at their past - Do they have a history of making things happen despite obstacles? Or do they have a history of explanations for why things didn't work out?
2. Watch how they handle "no" - High agency people hear "no" as "find another way." Low agency people hear it as permission to quit.
3. Notice their questions - Do they ask "how can I?" or do they ask "why can't someone?"
4. Check their bias - Do they default to action or to waiting? High agency people have a bias toward doing.
5. See how they learn - Do they teach themselves what they need to know, or do they wait for perfect conditions?
The Multiplier Effect:
Here's what's wild:
when you demonstrate high agency, others around you start showing it too. It's contagious.
When you take ownership, others step up. When you figure things out, others start problem-solving. When you refuse to accept "impossible," others start finding possibilities.
This is how teams transform. This is how companies scale. This is how humanity progresses.
Choose Wisely:
High agency matters in your:
- Spouse (you're building a life together)
- Co-founder (you're building a company together)
- Early team members (they set the culture)
- Close friends (they shape who you become)
Surround yourself with people who believe they can figure it out, who don't need perfect conditions, who take responsibility for outcomes.
Trust me - it will change your life forever. It did for me.
High agency is a fundamental belief about your relationship with the world: that you can shape it, not just react to it.
Find these people. Be one of these people. Build with them.
The world is changed by people who refuse to accept that things can't be done.

Connecting the dots:
(1) You work your ass of, with no real wage growth over the past many years.
(2) The government takes more and more of your money through taxation, telling you it all goes to a good cause and you will reap the benefits.
(3) Nothing actually gets better so you start to question wether this is just a huge grift.
(4) DJT promises to take a wrecking ball to all of it. He doesn't hide his intensions and his transparency gets him elected with a landslide and without a shadow of doubt.
(5) The wrecking ball arrives via Elon and his Gang of Five and you start to learn that your money was being used to create and sustain a shadow government. Your money was being pilfered by unelected bureaucrats to prop up organizations domestically and abroad to do their bidding - Politico, NYTimes, NGOs. The list goes on and on.
The only questions left are how far the rot goes and how complete the removal of this cancer will be.
This is not a Republican or Democrat issue anymore, its common sense.

When you vote tomorrow, remember that the core ambition of the contemporary left is using the mechanisms of state to reward their friends and punish their perceived enemies. Read the tweets in the screenshot below—if Kamala Harris wins, these will be the voices whispering in her ear, reminding her of favors owed and counseling utter ruination for those who dared oppose her.
In their framework—the governing ethos of the Democratic Party, the media, and the administrative state itself—individual rights long ago ceased to exist. The notion of a common good is no longer a consideration, nor is the concept of consent of the governed.
All that matters is power. It is their guiding force; their entire reason for existence. And not power as an abstraction, but power as a tool, used to provide patronage for those who comply and used to bring destruction to those who question.
Bend the knee and you will be rewarded with government contracts, well-paying tenured positions in the administrative state, research grants, and all the myriad other perks a $6.75 trillion federal budget can afford.
Resist, though—be it as a wealthy titan of industry funding the political opposition or even as a random nobody posting wrongthink on social media—and the full weight and might of Leviathan will be used to crush your will, break your spirit of resistance, and send a message to any who might do the same.
And all the while, as the government you wrongly thought existed to serve you grinds you into politically toxic dust, the likes of Will Stancil will be there, smarmy grins across their mediocre faces, telling you one thing:
You deserved this.
Keep that in mind when you fill out your ballot tomorrow.

1989: Graduated from it: Hasting College of Law
1990: Staff Lawyer DAs office in Bay Area (all newbies are called eg “Assistant DAs” or “Deputy DAs”, etc.)

🚩Kamala had no Insurance Experience though, so the Press took notice of inappropriately appointing his mistress to public political positions & wrote about it, even in, eg, The Los Angeles Times, etc.
1995: 🚩Kamala quit that Board as Willie appointed her to a different high-paying 1 that required fewer hours & just once a month meetings - CA Medical Asst. Commission.
🚩Yet again, Kamala had no Medical or relevant Legal experience, though. More bad Press shared this truth.

2001: Same
2002: 🚩Lied about Prosecutorial Record. Press was all over it.
(🚩🚩Google Search shows no video, pics or any evidence of Kamala Harris actually prosecuting a case, talking to press after she did, etc., like normal DAs Office Attorneys do, etc., bc she never actually did.)
2003: 🚩NONETHELESS, powerful local politician & Mayor now, Willie Brown, admitted he miraculously helped get Staff Attorney Kamala elected as San Francisco DA!!

The Coastal Commission has one job – take care of the California coast.
It is illegal for them to make decisions based on what they (mostly wrongly) think are my politics.
For example, I have done more to advance sustainable energy & help the environment than maybe anyone ever, which is not exactly a “far-right” position.
Yet here they are shamelessly breaking the law!
They should resign immediately and face the appropriate legal consequences for their actions.
California Coastal Commission literally confessed to illegal regulatory lawfare against @SpaceX and Elon Musk.
Not only is what they're saying completely ridiculous but it has absolutely nothing to do with their mandate of conserving the state's coastline – They will be sued.
