Anyone daring to defend this
⚡️ Mayor Zohran Mamdani's NYPD is poised to sign a three-year, $750,500 no-bid contract with Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte for FalcoNet, an AI-driven device that mimics a cell tower to track phones and can be mounted on police cars and drones or hidden in a backpack, the New York Daily News reported.
Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia.
The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Wasn’t he out here talking about “When the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it's been laced by the IDF.” Now this is the type of shit he’s signing off on? And people really had the audacity to act like it was crazy for him to be criticized and protested a couple weeks ago.

This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.

I don't have beef with trust-busting of course, but we gotta acknowledge abdul is objectively incorrect in his definition of capitalism.
Like there is no valid definition of capitalism without addressing relation to labor.
If Lenin could be correct about capitalism, oligarchy & monopolies in 1916, why can’t Abdul be correct about capitalism in 2026 when it’s easier than ever before to see how capitalism is precisely fundamentally designed to prey upon the weak, to make the rich richer? Concerning!

I don’t think the average person in America knows how close they are to being on the wrong side of this situation. These cops are fucking crazy out here. They flip a switch and that’s it, your life is over bc they misunderstood you or just got frustrated with themselves
Hard to fathom why the left hates Scott Wiener
Replying to @fawfulfan
Why a small, hardcore group of leftists on here hate Wiener so much is a bit harder to fathom.
As best I can tell, it's because he's Jewish and a certain group of leftists see voting against Jews as a proxy for punishing Israel.

Cannot be overstated how much of our current situation is downstream of not imprisoning a bunch of fascists. Guess which country did?
🇧🇷 President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva celebrated with supporters in São Paulo after Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court declared him the winner of Sunday’s presidential runoff against Flávio Bolsonaro, securing a historic fourth term just two days before his 81st birthday.
Lula won 51.76% to 48.24%, a margin of about 4.3 million votes. The win makes him Brazil's first four-term president and the oldest person ever elected to lead the country.
A former metalworker, Lula rose to national prominence in the late 1970s. As head of the metalworkers' union in São Paulo's industrial suburbs, he led strikes in defiance of the military dictatorship, and he was jailed in 1980, the year he co-founded the Workers' Party.

Vote for Nithya sure. But 0 reason to believe a self-declared capitalist openly co-opting socialism will markedly improve conditions for some future Lenin. Even Zohran & Rabb haven’t called themselves CAPITALISTS! Why champion lowering that bar & regressing? Is it not low enough?
You demand concessions in exchange for your vote BEFORE a politician wins office, not after. Waiting to demand concessions until they’re already in office is willingly admitting defeat. You’d have no bargaining chips. They’d have no reason to take your demand into consideration.
My favorite Lenin quote
We have to acknowledge the fact that Tamara is an incredibly talented artist who was the deranged hero we needed to take down Ethan Klein, Hila, & H3H3. Everyone say thank you Tamara.
I think anyone who was patting Haley Stevens on the back because she pretended to support Abdul for a brief moment after the primary should take a long hard look in the mirror and ask themselves how gullible they are, and if they should work on that.
BASH: “You're still fully behind Abdul El-Sayed?”
STEVENS: “Look, I'm on the Democratic ticket. I can't say that I agree with everything that's gone on… I'm looking to be on the team to support my next governor Jocelyn Benson, and frankly these great Democrats who are working their tails off, who are going to make Hakeem Jeffries the first black Speaker of the House.”
BASH: “You didn't mention Abdul El-Sayed in that last answer.”
STEVENS: “Well, look, I would just say, you had asked me if I'm still on the team, I'm on the team.”
If you rent out a Cybertruck you absolutely deserve to get scammed lmao
Just to get this straight, @turo : Your turo host lends out his Cybertruck on your platform with free supercharging, invoices me about 1000 US$ for supercharging , and according to your support, that’s just fine.
Ok, I call that fraud, but what do I know.
