I’m off to #ESVOT in Nice. Yesterday I did some clinical work on a lovely Springer Spaniel using innovative implants produced by @FusionImplants, a spin out from @LivUni. In my opinion, the implants make surgery easier and more precise. Collaboration between engineers and vets 👍

Lumbosacral distraction-stabilisation in Pug dog with transitional vertebral anomalies and bilateral L7 neuro foraminal stenosis. I will admit, it would be hard to hit these pedicles with big screws so perfectly without patient-specific drill guides.1/2

The Lateral Epicondylar Anatomical Plate from @FusionImplants is a great LEAP forwards. It makes repairing these fractures super-satisfying and provides a reliable locking plate construct for these dogs.
