🇨🇳CHINA INNOVATES WITH "LUNAR SOIL BRICKS" FOR MOON BASE
China aims for a manned moon landing by 2029-2030 and plans to establish a lunar base by 2035. Researchers are developing “lunar soil bricks” to construct the base, designed to withstand extreme lunar conditions.
These bricks will undergo testing aboard the Tianzhou-8 spacecraft at China’s space station, with the first sample expected back on Earth by late 2025.
Remarkably, these bricks have a compressive strength of over 3 times that of conventional building materials.
